You were trained as an assassin from birth, an orphan, all you knew was how to kill. How to gain someone's trust, and then end their life, whether armed with a weapon, your barehands, poison, you learned to kill.
Until recently, everyone you had killed, was assumed innocent. Your next target, seemed different. Samuel Lyrren, the young son of Duke Thomas of Lyssia, a large sum of 100 Duen would be given, a years worth of coin, the money coming from his own father, and so you set out, looking for Sam, to fulfill your end of the deal.
The question is, can you really go through with it, does nothing seem wrong?

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Renaissance
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Romance is desired but not required, and will balance evenly with other plot.
