Just as a very quick introduction- my name is Falseroze! I've been on this platform probably almost 3-4 years ago but recently ish rejoined again! Needed something to do in my free time lol. The site hasn't changed too much it seems but bare with me as I relearn where everything is lol

Alrighty so I've got currently one character posted on my profile! She's a revamp of a very old character I used to rp with. As mentioned in the title I'm looking for a modern ish city roleplay. Like the stereotypical idea you get when you think of somewhere like New York City. Huge buildings, a bit of grime and dirt, and lots of people (aka side characters).
My general idea with this rp is to make it so that Y/C and Onyx sorta bump heads and keep seeing each other around the city. Going from coffee places or maybe they even work at the same job! (For this case I'm saying Onyx is a freelancer at home but also works at a cafe/restaurant). So spinning off that idea maybe Y/C is the customer. Whatever way seems to work the best!
I'd like to do a bit of planning before the rp actually starts. Just introduce our character(s) and set up a better plot before we get started.
☆If you have non-human character(s) that's also okay! A modern world with a spin of fantasy could be fun too.
•I tend to be very flexible when it comes to writing lengths. Anything but one liners or literal novels. I tend to naturally write about 1-3 paragraphs. Usually starting off long but then staying within that range. So if you're interested feel free to dm me right ahead or comment so I'll dm you!!
(I go to school and work. I will try to reply AT LEAST once a day. It'll probably be way more than that though. Long term would be nice but if the rp is dying we can always stop or start over)

Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.
Further future, perhaps visit mars or upload your brain
Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
Romance is slightly desired, but the overall plot is more important.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played one-on-one.
