Leo looked at the child who was known for being very shy, even though Leo had helped the boy before it wasn't enough. The younger brother had shift a bit to make it slightly easier to hold the black haired child before looking up at his brother. To think, they were fighting and now the brothers seemed so calm.IT was as if that never happened. The younger brother glanced at Xerxes, whom at some point had decided it was safe to lean against Leo,and then he looked at Gil.
"Yeah..One could say these two really are worth dealing with."Leo agreed,a ghost like smile,he definitely agreed. Gilbert lifted his head a bit and moved a bit so he could look up at D'Kato.
Lily did want to be for the four boys, she hadn't seen any of them in a long time. So,the temptation was very strong in her heart and her mind. The mother looked at Solan,he had clearly noticed what she felt like doing. Her blue eyes went back to the four, those young boys studying the baby they once knew. "Yes,you're right.Do you wish to join me, or would you rather met the two later?"She asked Solan.

“Yeah,” D’Kota murmured, his gaze shifting from Xerxes to Gilbert and finally locking in his baby brother’s. He caught that faint smile, the fact Leo opened up enough around him to let that through warming his heart. However, the things he wanted to do he didn’t dare, not yet. So instead he returned the smile and headed back outside for some much needed nicotine, pulling out a cigarette as he went. “I’ll keep out of the way for now, but if you need me…”
“I would love to join you, Lady Lily, but…he isn’t doing half as well as he seems,” Solan admitted, his pale gaze shifting to D’Kota, noting the signs of stress around the young man’s eyes. This was indeed a lot for D’Kota to take in…his brother, his mother, and now the twins and, well, they were certainly pushing his tolerances. “I think perhaps the sooner we get everyone home and settled the better.”

Leo nodded, watching his older brother go outside. That was a clear sign that D'Kota wanted out of this place,so did Leo,well he just wanted to be some where quite for a while. All that crying had caused a pretty annoying headache,Leo sit Gil down.Xerxes tilted his head when he saw Lily, one second the younger twin was there the next he was out the door.He did make sure to be careful of D'Kota, with Gil followed his brother closely.Leo glanced down the hall,he wanted to get something before his uncle realized he was back. There was hardly a minute of hesitation when he heard something down the hall,Leo had disappeared upstairs as soon as he heard something.
Lily looked at the house, she did want to go over to everyone but at the same time, she frowned."I can see that. Most of me agrees with D'Kota whole haerdtly."She said, looking over at D'Kato. At least he wasn't alone anymore, neither of her sons were."The lovely Lady Lily!"The twins said, running over to her, greeting her with smiles and hugs. That rare frown was gone when Lily knelt down in front of them.

Solan smiled as the twins found their way to Lily, the boys happily greeting her, Lily just as overjoyed to have them in her arms. He stepped aside to give them those moments, no more willing to interrupt this reunion than he had the one between mother and sons. Taking that time to study the house, the energies swirling around it, the overall aura, he decided moving Leo and the twins to D’Kota’s home was indeed the wisest move. The twins needed a more stable, loving home and Leo…Leo needed to live in a place he knew he was safe, somewhere he could gain the security he lost long ago, a sanctuary he could relax within, never fearing what would come his way. This house, this uncle did not provide any of that.
D’Kota knew he was at the end of his rope, too much happening, the arguing, the stress, and the people chipping away at his control. Granted, realizing his little brother hurt and suffered the same only weakened his hold over himself. He meant what he said earlier, his only desire to protect Leo, to help his little brother, to give him the life he deserved. So, short on patience or not, the second he finished his cigarette, he stubbed it out and slipped back inside to track Leo down. The twins were fine in their mother’s care with Solan watching over them while his brother likely needed help gathering what he needed for now and escaping that stifling house.
“Leo?” he called as he drew near, sensing his brother’s presence, aware of the mounting tension. “Are you about ready to go?”

Leo looked around his room,he figured taking a few clothes,a few books and of course his violin. It was one of those things he simply couldn't leave,it was really important to him.The teenage boy, thank god he packed quickly, within in a matter of minutes his clothes and a few books were now in a suitcase.Leo picked it up off of his bed and walked over to the violin, with a small smile he bent down to pick it up very carefully. And with that he left his room and started down the stairs when he heard his brother call him.
"Yes I'm ready t-"Leo stopped when his uncle,Uncle Thomas was right there."..Uncle Thomas."He said softly, and dully.
"Where are you going?"He asked,Leo's instant reaction was to look away and then tensed when the older man grabbed him by his shoulders.
"...Let..go."Leo growled at him.

Following Leo’s voice, D’Kota turned a corner to find Leo standing in the hallway, his suitcase and violin in hand. What brought him up short, though, was the ice glistening in those pale eyes, his little brother’s expression cut from stone, his voice chillingly cold. The man standing before Leo, blocking his path, D’Kota had to assume was his brother’s uncle…thus his own, but he’d claim no relationship. Instead, he calmly walked over and gently, but firmly pulled Leo out of the man’s hold, tucking his brother behind him as he turned to face the uncle.
“He’s going with me. I appreciate all you’ve done to take care of Leo, but he needs to come home now,” D’Kota stated softly, not bothering to explain who he was, much less why he was taking Leo away. “We’ll be back within the week to pack the rest of Leo’s things and grab whatever the twins want. Now, if you’ll excuse us, it’s getting late and we still have a long day ahead of us.”

Leo stumbled a bit when D'Kota had pulled him out of the grasp of his uncle. He looked up at his older brother before looking at his uncle, whom of which seemed rather confused. Some thing about him so confused kind a made little a little happy, than again he did try to stop Leo from going some where on top of touching him. When the uncle turned to face D'Kota and Leo he just seemed shocked at this point. It was as if seeing D'Kota stunned him into silence.
The older man went to say something, but Leo tilted his head slightly still glaring at him,"We are leaving now,good-bye."Leo told the man, maybe this would finally get Uncle Thomas to man up or something.Ah,but that was just a hopeful thought, one that Leo discarded when he turned his back to him.

Arching an elegant brow when the man started to say something, D’Kota shook his head, turned on his heel, and escorted Leo down the stairs and out of the front door. He never touched his brother, but he did make sure this uncle who’d taken care of Leo didn’t interfere again. Once outside, he did lighten Leo’s load, taking the suitcase and Xerxes by the hand. As much as D’Kota would prefer leaving the twins with the people they were more comfortable with, Lily and Leo, they couldn’t walk down the street with Lily holding either boy and Leo couldn’t carry the twins along with his violin. However, he did have the wisdom to leave Gilbert with Leo, aware the older, smaller twin did not yet trust him.
Twenty minutes later, D’Kota led the way into the two-story Tudor house, setting Leo’s suitcase down just inside the door. “Make yourselves at home. Leo, your bedroom is up the stairs and to the right. It’s yours to do with as you please, but…try to keep it clean. Xerxes, Gilbert, why don’t you two help Leo get settled in?” he suggested, D’Kota already headed through the house to the kitchen, intent on getting dinner started. “Call me if you need me.”

Once Leo was outside he let out a long sigh and relaxed quite a bit,"..thanks."He said to D'Kota,it seeemd fair enough to thank him when he helped Leo get out of that. After all, there wasn't much he could do since his hands were holding on to things.Although the thought of slamming his suitcase into his uncle did occur to him,and he almost did if D'Kota hadn't stepped in.
Xerxes looked up at D'Kota, the younger twin gave him a warm bright smile. He then looked over at Gilbert, whom of which looking back at the two but when his twin looked he looked forward. The older twin held onto Leo's pale hand with both hands and was silent as always.
Leo looked up at the two story house, wincing a bit when Gilbert's grip tightened a bit. This would take some getting use to for Gil,but Leo knew he would pull through in the end,he always did.He looked at his older brother, him willingly clean?"..Uhh,I'm not promising anything."Was his response as he let go of Gil hand so he could go get his suitcase. After all Gilbert kinda stopped a foot from the door and Leo had things to do.
Thankfully,Xerxes let his older twin take his hand,"Hmm,yeah.Let's go!"Xerxes said, pulling Gilbert inside.Gil hardly had any time to protect, before he knew it Xerxes had already gotten him to the stairs,at this point it would have been pointless to do anything else but follow the two.The two that were already half way up the stairs,he quickly followed but missed one step and done went lil' Gil.Leo stopped to look back when he heard that thud,"Gil! Be careful!"He said firmly.

D’Kota disappeared into the kitchen with one thought in mind…fixing dinner. Taking out the ground beef, he seasoned the meat and started that. Then he gathered a couple of tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and two blocks of cheese, one mozzarella, and one cheddar. The faint sound of his brother yelling, for Leo anyway, at Gilbert reached him before he could begin prepping the rest of dinner, but as he didn’t hear anything from the little boy he figured Leo had things under control. Not to mention, between Leo, Lily, and Solan, the twins were well taken care of, D’Kota not needed. So, he turned back to cooking dinner, dicing the tomatoes and onions, shredding the cheese, and slicing the lettuce, softly humming to himself as he worked. Had anyone chosen to walk in at that moment, they’d not the change in him, D’Kota relaxed, calm, and at peace.
Solan looked over just as little Gilbert slipped, biting back the instinctive reaction to rush to the child’s side. For one, Gilbert was more shaken than anything else. For another, his distrust of strangers would only make Solan’s attempts to help him a more stressful situation for the boy. So, rather than rushing over to rescue to the little one, he turned to Lily, smiled, and bowed. “I leave this in your capable hands, my lady. I think I’ll take this moment to go check on your older son and see how he’s holding up, although…he does seem somewhat calmer and more relaxed now that he’s home.”

Xerxes stepped out of Leo's way,and then slipped up the rest of the stairs to wait for the two.Leo realized that snapping at Gil may have not been the best move, but he was tired, and his head ached. He did realized that Gilbert would be a nervous wreck until everything settled down around him.The black haired twin held his head as he wiped tears from his pale face,he wasn't crying due to pain, more like he felt guilty for slipping.Leo sighed,he knelt in front of Gilbert."Hey,hey dry up those tears."Leo said softly, almost sweetly as if Gilbert was his younger brother.
Lily winced and covered her eyes for a brief moment. She hated it when Gilbert tripped and almost always fell,he really was a klutz. The mother took a step forward, then she stopped looking back at Solan."Ah,yes I think the child would faint."Lily said with a giggle,"Right..wait."She stopped,Lily tapped Solans' arm and pointed at Leo and Gilbert.
"I apologize for snapping at Gil."He said, ruffling the boys black hair.

Solan hesitated and looked over to find quite a heartwarming scene, one that proved Leo wasn’t as unreachable as some thought. Smiling, he watched on as Leo comforted Gilbert, apologizing to the little boy, and trying to make everything right again. Xerxes stood patiently at the top of the stairs waiting for the other two to join him, revealing himself to be the dominant twin, younger or not. His smile deepened, knowing all of them would be good for D’Kota…and D’Kota would be good for them, a thought that made him immensely happy and relieved. While he’d known this day would come for D’Kota, he’d never imagined anything like this, D’Kota finally gaining the family he desperately needed.
“Yes, you definitely have reason to be proud of your boys, Lady Lily,” he whispered, turning and slipping away.

Lily's smile grew as she watched her youngest child pick Gilbert up.It was a bit funny to see Leo pick Gil up since the child at least came to Leos' waist, yet the teenage boy seemed to have no trouble as he went upstairs to Xerxes. The white headed child giggled,so he was worried about Gilbert slipping and falling. The mother nodded,"Yeah,I really do."She said softly.

Leo looked around his new room,Gil and Xerxes were over by the window looking outside. He had just put everything away, some how all of this seemed so to him."..home,huh?"He said to himself before walking out of his room and heading down stairs with Gilbert and Xerxes closely following.

D’Kota already had the table set, two dozen homemade tacos situated in the center with several small serving bowls situated around that. He’d included everything he could think of, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, both blocks of cheese shredded, sour cream, avocado sauce, and salsa. At the moment, he drifted from the kitchen with a pitcher of water in one hand, a pitcher of cold tea in the other. D’Kota already set the twins up with glasses of milk, never doubting they’d prefer that over plain old water. He just couldn’t be sure about his brother, his mind ticking off the possibilities as he made his way to the dining room table, paying no attention to the large black tiger trailing behind him.
“Leo? Gilbert? Xerxes? Dinner is ready,” he called, setting the pitchers down and waiting for the twins to come in to help set them up before taking his own seat.

Leo bit his lip, dinner,he didn't seem all that thrilled about hearing that. The twins however were different, they hadn't really eaten anything all and all they could think about was food.Leo watched the two run off,he had a small smile as he debating eating or not.The teenage boy walked calmly, only to stop and hold his head when Gilbert screamed. The boy sounded like he had just been murdered or something,"Gil?"Leo called,he hurried over to the two and froze.
Even Xerxes, the brave child was frozen, his mismatched eyes very wide as he watched the large, more like gigantic black tiger to the twins.Gilbert had buried his face in his hands trembling violently.Leo was more confused then anything, yes,it was far from normal to see a large cat in a kitchen following your older brother like a puppy.
"..how in the world.."Leo said.

D’Kota spun around to face the boys, unsure as to just what caused that blood curdling scream. A second later, realization dawned in his mismatched eyes, his gaze shifting from the twins, to Solan, to Leo. Shrugging helplessly, he sighed, “I’m sorry. I’m just so use to him in that form that I didn’t stop to think about the twins. That’s Solan.”
His great head snapping around, his ears flattening in an effort to spare himself the pain of that ear splitting cry, Solan gazed at the terrified Gilbert. Tilting his head, he debated just how to handle this without making the poor child any worse. Yes, there was the obvious, Solan able to shift back to his spiritual form or even his Elven form. However, that was more evading the issue than solving, especially since he favored his tiger form when at home. That left assuring little Gilbert he presented no threat, not to a young, innocent child anyway. So, he walked over to stand before the terrified boy, and promptly licked Gilbert from chin to forehead, the youth’s soft curls sticking straight up from his forehead.

Lily ran over to stand behind Leo,trying to figure out what was the cause of Gilbert's sudden scream. At first she looked at the tiger, then her eldest son and then back at Solan before giggling softly."..That's Solan?"Leo said pointing at the black tiger, well it did make sense..somehow.Gil uncovered his face to look at the large feline,he wasn't so sure about this.He didn't even know who Solan was,and now he could become a tiger? It just didn't make any sense in Gilbert's mind.
Xerxes and Gil glanced at each other, his younger twin seemed confused too. They really didn't know anything about him,so how could they be sure?Gilbert noticed that Xerxes's crimson and golden eyes went back to Solan,he also went to look back at the large cat,and he did see him.Only he saw him right in front of him,Gil shuddered. Then he blinked a few times when Solan licked his face,"..w-why.."Gil shook his head very quickly ,that wasn't exactly pleasant.
Lily tried not to,she really did but a few seconds later she was laughing. That was undeniable the cutest funniest thing she had seen in a long time.Leo's hand quickly went over his mouth in an attempt to try and keep a straight face, but anyone could tell he was smiling."Eww,you just got slimmed by a cat."Xerxes giggled.

Taking in everything around him, most especially the smile his little brother tried so desperately to hide, D’Kota walked around and picked Xerxes up, setting him down in his seat. “Okay, now that bath time is over, maybe we can get down to the business of eating,” he murmured, ruffling Xerxes’ hair, mischief sparkling in his eyes. “Before Solan decides to slime you, too, Xerxes.”
Satisfied Gilbert was far less afraid now, Solan purred softly, rubbed the entire length of his body against the tiny boy, and walked over to sink down near the table. As delicious as the food smelled, and those tacos did smell good, he had no interest in them. No, in his tiger form, he much preferred the thrill of the hunt and the mouthwatering prize for catching his prey. Fortunately, he really wasn’t hungry, so he sprawled out on his side, sighed, and let himself begin to drift off while remaining fully aware of everything going on around him.
Xerxes set up, D’Kota turned to Gilbert, hesitated, and finally scooped him up and set him down next to his twin brother. Then, sliding a sideways glance at his brother, he walked around to the head of the table and took his seat, his gaze locking on Leo. “Maybe you should sit down, little brother, and take a deep breath…before your face cracks,” he teased, the smile tipping up the corners of his mouth the only sign he teased his baby brother.

Xerxes admittedly jumped at first,he didn't expect D'Kota to pick him up to set him in a chair. He tilted his head and smiled,"Ahh,finally food~” the boy said,he was defiantly happy that he would finally eat something solid rather then candy. His mismatched eyes seemed to have little smiles of their own, when a little thought crossed his mind. He knew that D'Kota wouldn't know how old he and his brother really were,Xerxes looked over at Solan, but would he know?"Ahah, right.I want to avoid that as much as possible."He agreed.
Gilbert wasn't as terrified no,unfortunately the boy might still be a bit jumpy for a while to come but that was just him.Quickly he flattened out his hair rather then letting it stick up in the air.The second D'Kota picked him up a shudder passed through the tiny child."Hm..t-that's a little t-too high."He muttered to hismelf just before he was set down. Once he was sitting,Gil looked at down at his lap as he messed his his sleeves a bit.
Leo frowned within seconds,"I have no idea what your talking about,"He claimed, walking over to a chair,"After all,if I smile the world might just implode."Leo said.clearly sarcastically.Who would Leo be with out these snide sarcastic remarks?Certainly not him,and at times it was a very good thing he was that way,to say he were to be possessed there would be the big hint.
Lily crossed her arms, and raised an eyebrow at the two."One,D'Kota, he was smiling, why did you say that, and two.I don't think the world would implode just because you smiled,Leo."Lily told them before smiling at them both.

D’Kota shot their mother an innocent look as he rose back up to help the twins with their tacos. “I’m afraid I’m with him, mother. I have no idea what you’re talking about and…I’m thinking the world just might implode if Leo, our Leo, actually smiled,” he murmured straight faced, his attention shifting to the twins as he asked what each wanted on their tacos. Once both boys had their food, he reclaimed his seat and fixed his own tacos, adding a bit of everything…except guacamole. He really hated the stuff. “I’m not sure where Xerxes and Gilbert will sleep unless they bunk with you, Leo. We only have two bedrooms.”
