Still didn't manage to fix the android background issue, despite trying a few things

Are those other companies gonna just linger where you saw them, or only be there while you can actively see them? And there gonna be a way to not see them, so things don't get too confusing or hard to spot what you're looking for?

They gradually fade out over time after your company spotted them. If they are sighted again, they'll be restored and placed in the new location they were saw in, and then gradually fade.

Will you see them move at all, or only their spot from when they initially come into view?

You won't see them move. When your wallies switch hexes, they will do a scout form adjacent threat levels and other companies and at that time they are updated.

Oh, interestingly, the background works on android in firefox, but not chrome.
