Based on comments earlier, I think she might actually be kinda expecting a petition again this year.

Basically, it needs to be clearly demonstrated that enough of the community wants to save the poor beastie.

I guess if people refuse to hit it anymore she'd kind of have to do something but there'll be people chipping away at it anyway I'm sure

… Why are we saving the dragon? It is the enemy. give me a good reason not to slay it with my loyal walrus.

And even with the one we did save, we still had to defeat it first, it just got re-flavored as subduing it to be safely sent away.

Because the first dragon we saved returned to help us against multiple other bosses.

That is a fair point. I gotta take another look at it. It’s kinda cute when sleeping, but when angy super saiyan dragon.. it’s scary.
