I liked Everhood more, it felt like Undertale, but a bit less... making you feel bad on purpose by doing a twist where you only get to name (and therefore attach to) the bad guy

I wouldn't say Chara's the bad guy; they're not you, they're not Frisk, Frisk isn't you, you make Frisk do things, Chara narrates. Chara did questionable things in the past with their buttercup plan but in-game they don't do much beyond offering commentary

Chara is the little demon inside of us all that mows down swaths of enemies in other RPGs. Whole villages of slimes and goblins gone forever.

well that's only because other RPGs don't give me other options, I'd be a Frisk if given the choice, but not even Undertale gives me the choice to be a Frisk lmao
