tbh in regards to the settings I love that it randomizes the hands on default

I think had I known about the hands, I'd have left it on random anyway

It didn't feel right to have a "default" set of hands, or to randomly assign each person a starting set of hands. So it just changes with every load unless you pick one for yourself

but it's a pretty HANDY setting to know about

Aardbei, there are all sorts of non-binary varieties. Plus expectations about gendered appearances rely a lot on a mix of most typical traits and outright stereotypes, so don't stress out too much if the appearance thing came out confusing for you.
