So I've been a part of this site for the past year or so and haven't formally introduced myself.
Hi, my name is Virusghost18, but you can call me Virus - most everyone does. I have been RP-ing for almost 2 years now on various sites but was lucky to introduced to a site as hospitable as this. Thank you Heimdall, you have been very kind. I've always had characters, weapons, places and stories surrounding them floating in my head for as long as I can remember. But most all of them were premature and underdeveloped. What made it worse was that there were very few people around me in the real world that I could relate these things to or that were on my same level of thought. I was doomed to carry the large burden of countless ideas that were not yet brought to light and existence. They had no definition, nothing to show for themselves. That is until I found a group of friends on deviantArt.com, they shared the same goals as me artwork-wise but not exactly story-wise. Then a "Big-Black-Beast" descended from the proverbial skies and showed me a new outlet. Here.
Now I know a lot of you don't know me, but don't let the fear of the unknown stop you from having fun. I am a nice guy, very flexible with my work and characters, I love to write as much as I love to create artwork. I am passionate about all my characters and want to bring them into their adolescence and possibly to full maturity as I become closer and closer to them and who they are. Someday I hope to make books about them and their adventures. Lofty goals, I know, but if I aim for the stars I may hit the moon - as a wise friend once told me.
I am no respecter of fictions, I love Sci-if as much as I love Fantasy. The more exciting the better! I may from time to time (or more accurately most of the time) tend to write a bit more on the lengthy side of submissions. But this is only because I have so much wanting to come out that I find it hard to leave anything to guess work. The more defined an idea the more clearly I can see it being in reality.
So who am I? I am what my name suggests.
Virus//: A contagion that never really goes away. It spreads faster than it is eradicated.
Ghost//: A personage wandering amongst persons. Shadowy and evanescent, there but not really there. Only viewable to those it allows.
18//: A number that has followed me my entire life. The age at which I broke away from the mediocrity that sought to smoother my creativity.
I am always willing to RP, so check me out on my profile!!!

It is never to late. Those who think so should check out the ninety year old people who go to collage.
Hello nice to meet you .
Hello nice to meet you .
Nah, it's never to late. Have you have thought of writing a comic or graphic novel since you love to write and draw?
*waves* It may be a bit odd to post very late, especially if you've been fairly active, but I wouldn't say it's too late for introductions anyway.

I have actually, but I would need help with it. A lot of help. ^^'
Welcome to the site, and thank you for that wonderfully thoughtful introduction. I feel as if I know you much better now. Also, Heimdall is indeed a brimming source of fantasticness!!
A graphic novel is a HUGE amount of work, and its very own type of skillsets -- I'm in awe of anyone who decides to take it on, or even considers it. You clearly have a lot of drive!

Never too late I say! I am glad you've been enjoying the site! Do you do the artwork for your own characters? If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Sort of a curse really. So much swimming around and space being taken up, but the end result will be well worth it in the end! Thank you for being such an amazing Admin!!!

The saying is "If you want it done right you got to do it yourself" so yes I do my own art, some of it is attached to my individual character's gallery. Some more rough around the edges than others. But I am fairly competent as far as my art skills are concerned.
Thank you for all your helpfulness!!!

Awww, thanks!
If you do start producing a graphic novel, please be sure to give us some sneak peeks?
Oh I am all for sneak peeks!!!

Wow, I really like your style!
Really? Thank you!!! I'd love to RP sometime, maybe make a piece or two on it!!! 8D
Neat, another writer-artist! And one much more ambitious than I am... you actually give things backgrounds!
Nice to meet ya, man.
Kudos on the biblical language you threw in that introduction, too. Made me smile. :]

Thank you, one can only try to be a Wordsmith. Very hard to become one.
I like backgrounds, at times I even like then better than making my characters, unlimited parameters with a scene's image. Not so much with its subjects. ^^'
