I felt the pain start to grow
It burned me up from the inside

At first, I thought it was magic
A spell that I couldn't break
But now I see it's destruction
And it's too much to take

As someone who isn't a song writer but loves the heck out of spoken word poetry, I really like this! The flow of,

Seems to read really well! And I do like the imagery it gives off.

It really is cool! I could vibe with it. The painful ecstatic, hopeful and resigned, feeling, is pretty prominent...
