We got a little game for my nieces (12, 6) where they
have to pick up cards and do what is written on them.
Like:
... and so on.
- Hiss like a cat.
- Stand on one leg.
- Balance a spoon on your nose.
- Hold your tongue and try to talk.
... and so on.
The cards got boring after a while so we ponder about making a new set of cards.
The problem is, we can't come up with ideas for the cards that are nice and funny.
Any help/ideas/suggestions?
Hmm, new cards? Sounds like a great idea!
1. "Tell a lame/overused joke in a funny way"
2. "Laugh maniacally for fifteen seconds"
3. "Make good news sound horrible."
4. "Make horrible news sound good!"
(3 and 4 stolen from Robin Hood Men in Tights)
5. "Imitate the sound of a washing machine/garbage disposal/blender/similar device"
6. "You are now the main character in your favorite movie...keep this act up until someone guesses who you are OR your next turn"
7. "You are now the villain from your favorite movie..."(see #6)
8. "Try to quote as much of your favorite book/movie from memory as you can."
...unless this isn't what you had in mind. In which case, just ignore the fact I am easily entertained and wanted to contribute something.

PenGryphon2007, thanks for those awesome suggestions.
I especially like 2 and 5.
My main problem is, that one of the girls is 12, and the other is just 6 year sold.
So for the younger girl, the cards should be easy.
When she had to imitate a monkey the last time, she started to cry.
Probably because she felt it humilitating or, because she had no clue how to do it.
So I need to be careful, cause I want her to enjoy it.

Super fast hide and seek (each take one turn hiding/seeking, even set a timer if you want)

Thats an awesome idea
1.Have a short pillow fight
2.Make a fort and pretend your a princess for the rest of the game.
3.Take some nail polish and dump it in the center. Then take one at a time and spin them, coloring one nail of the person it points to that color.
4.Take a hula-hoop and make a circle, holding onto each others hands. Try to get through the hula-hoop without breaking the circle.
Hope I helped! I play some of these games with my 10 year old sister.
