Yuke looked away from his older brother, that wasn't what he wanted to hear. He didn't blame Nylain for any of this, he blamed Yume. Yume did all of this, and she could have made things very bad for them. Yuke shook his head, denying that at all cost, it wasn't Ny's fault. His pale pink eyes went to his brothers golden gaze,"..I..I"He wanted to deny that she was going to be coming for Ny again ,and that he was very frightened by the alarm. It cold many so many things, things he didn't even want to began to think about. "..I,,your right..I just don't want to lose you again, it's been so long since I last saw you...so I guess I am scared."Yuke said, he slid his eyes shut.
Lily slowly looked to the man, and then the solider. The way he was looking at her made her temper flare up in her. With a haughty huff she crossed her arms and looked away from the guard. How dare he think of her that way, she didn't even know the man. All she did was heal the poor man, he looked like he was in pain she of course she would help him. Lily went to say something only for the person in robes covered her mouth. It was like the man, or Leo, had covered her mouth. He didn't remove his hand until the guard left the room.
She shot a glare at him, but he wasn't looking at her. Ni he was looking at the floor, his shoulders rose when he let out a sigh. "What was that for?"lily asked him, a bit harshly, but how could she not. "..do you wish to be thrown out of the castle?"He asked her softly. Lily went to say something yet again but the guard had said something about 'princes' before she got the chance.
"..very well.."He said with a small nod.

“I am, too,” Nylian admitted, leaning close to rest his forehead against his twins, his gaze lowered. This…this was why he’d said all he did, why he admitted what burned in his heart. Yes, Yuke was right. Yume was at fault for this mess, for the pain his family suffered, for the tragedy they survived, but…he couldn’t help but feel somehow responsible. That, however, wasn’t what he wanted to talk about. He’d just wanted his twin to open up to him…just like they use to, before Yume, before all the grief and loss. “I’m scared, too. I don’t want to lose you again, or Uncle Lathai, or my home. I’m happy here with my family and our people.”
Yuke bit the inside of his cheek, some how hearing that his older brother was also scared helped..but it didn't at the same time. For some reason this thought made him feel chilled for some reason. Yume, she had tried to destroy their lives, but they all stood as strongly as they could. And now he had his brother back and those memory's from so long ago kept filling his mind. Again and again he kept pushing those thoughts aside and focused on now. "Ny.."Yuke said softly before giving into a small smile and chucked softly.
Serena knocked on the prince's door,"Prince Nylain, Prince Yuke, the general is in his room, do wish to go see him?"She asked, but it sounded more like a statement. Yuke glanced at Nylain.
Serena knocked on the prince's door,"Prince Nylain, Prince Yuke, the general is in his room, do wish to go see him?"She asked, but it sounded more like a statement. Yuke glanced at Nylain.
“Yuke…” he countered, smiling warmly, knowing that no matter what came their way, not matter their enemies, they would always have each other.
He looked toward the door at the knock, somewhat surprised at what Serena said. Uncle Lathai in his room? At that hour? Unless something seriously changed since he was gone, the only way his uncle would retire to his rooms at this hour was either to have a bit of fun or… Nylian tensed and snagged his twin by the wrist, knowing it was the or… that drove their uncle to his bed. The question was had Uncle Lathai been injured in the battle or before hand? No, he knew his uncle and the man wasn’t foolish enough to walk onto the field with a weakness such as that, one his enemy would take advantage of without hesitation. Granted, Lathai could’ve fallen ill, but Nylian couldn’t see that one, either, the man healthy as a horse.
“He’s hurt,” he breathed, glancing back at Yuke, his brow furrowing. “Did you know Uncle Lathai was injured?”

Serena watched the two princes in silence, she thought that Prince Nylain would have known. How did he not know, didn't the general see his nephew after he woke up? So..how come he didn't notice, then again he did change his shirt, maybe that's why he didn't notice.
Yuke tripped over his feet when his brother snagged him back, it was a miracle that he didn't fall to the floor. His pink gaze was stuck on the floor,Uncle Lathai, was he really going to be alright. He swallowed, they still needed their uncle. "..yeah I did..."He said softly. Yuke had hoped that their uncle would have dealt with his wound instead of walking around with a whole in his side.

He glanced back at his brother, wincing visibly, deep worry shining in his pale eyes. Nylian knew then Lathai was injured in the battle, that his uncle tended to his duties while neglecting himself. That thought alone sent him racing through the castle with Yuke in tow, aware his twin tried to resist, which resulted in him being dragged along. Not even that, though, stopped Nylian, not until he slid to a stop in front of his uncle’s door. What he expected, he couldn’t say, but not a councilman and a strange woman standing in Lathai’s room. A councilman? Was Lathai in that serious of condition? Surely not, not with the royal healers kept on hand to ensure the royal family lived long, healthy lives. Not to mention, Lathai was not foolish enough to ignore his injuries to the point he put his life in danger, at least the uncle Lathai remembered would never do something like that. So why were they there? The only way to find out was to step into the room and find out.
His brow furrowing faintly, Nylian gripped his brother’s hand tighter and stepped inside, looking over to find his uncle laying in bed, the man terribly pale, and out cold. “Uncle Lathai…”

Yuke bit his lip again when his brother started pulling him behind him. The younger brother didn't want to go to his uncles room he was terrified of what they might find. However, he know found him self slipping and sliding down the hall of the castle as he tried to get his brother to let go. Any time he went to pry Nylain's hand off of his wrist he almost stumbled every time, how he didn't know. Yuke gave up when they got to the stairs, there was no point in turning back and running back to his brothers room.. or his own. He let out a long sigh as he hung his head as they walked over to Uncle Lathai's room. He was so scared that he would find Lathai cold, and not moveing..but he found something else instead. More like someone else. There was a councilmen standing in his room and a very beautiful young woman...then his pale pink eyes fell on his unconscious Uncle.
"Ah..Ny, my hand."Yuke complained, after having his wrist and hand pulled through out the castle it had started to throb, and squeezing his hand didn't help.
Lily spun around, facing the two teenagers that stood in the threshold of the door. Leo looked over his shoulder, not willing to completely turn around to face the princes Nylain and Yuke.

Nylian met the young lady’s gaze, but only briefly, his golden eyes shifting to lock on the councilman, the pale depths hardening visibly. Then Yuke’s soft plea cut through his thoughts, drawing his attention to just how hard he held on to his twin. “Oh! Sorry!” he whispered, releasing his hold, stepping back to stand at Yuke’s side. A moment later, Nylian looked back at their uncle, his fingers threading through his own hair, wrapping around the silken strands in a white-knuckled grip. “What happened? And…who…why…what’s going on?”
Yuke pressed his lips together as he wiggled his fingers a bit,"..yeah.."He said with a small smile,"..ah..so numb."Yuke said softly, still wiggled his fingers again. His fingers were slowly started to gain feeling back again, unfortunately it was a quick throb feeling. The younger prince winced a bit before looking at his uncle and then the two standing before him.
"..He collapsed from exhaustion and loss of blood. But he should be fine now."Leo told the two.
He was a councilmen, something seemed off about that. He then looked at the young woman again,"..uh, no offense Miss. But I don't thing that my uncle is very up to entertaining you at the moment. Not even your l-"Was all he manged to get past his mouth before Lily's small hand smacked into the side of his pale face. Yuke kept his head turned away as though he was looking at something.

Nylian turned back to his uncle at the councilman’s response, his golden gaze drinking in every detail, noting just how pale the man was, how weak he seemed just laying there like that. He knew a lot of that was just his fears coming through, that his uncle’s wounds were healed, and his life strong or the royal healers would be at Lathai’s side. Nylian was just as aware the young man standing there in council robes could not possibly be a council man. He looked younger than Yuke and Nylian, and councilman had to be a certain age before they qualified for the position. That left him wondering who the youth was and why the young man was there…in the castle…in their Uncle Lathai’s room…with an equally mysterious woman. At least her presence was easier to explain.
A sharp crack drew his attention, Nylian wincing as he spun around, staring at the lady in utter disbelief. “Did you just…” he began, so shocked he couldn’t even finish the question.
Nylian wasn’t the only one astounded the lady slapped Yuke, but the guard recovered rather quickly. In the next instant, he charged into the room and approached the woman, his jaw set in grim determination. “I do apology, my lady, but I am afraid I cannot simply overlook such a crime. You just laid hands, in a harmful manner, on Prince Yuke, heir apparent!” he explained, hoping at least was the right response. “For that, I must see you to the dungeon.”
“I hardly think arresting the lady is necessary,” Lathai spoke up from his position on the bed, his eyes half open, a mixture of sleepiness and amusement glittering in the ice violet depths. “Although in my nephew’s defense, my lady, you are certainly the kind of breathtaking beauty I would most certainly bring home and…”

Leo, it actually took him a minute before he realized what she just did, but he still grabbed his Lily's hand quickly. He didn't intend to hurt her in any way, in fact he grabbed her very gently and pulled her back. From underneath the hood anyone could see his pale eyes landing on Prince Yuke. Well, he got to see Lily, but just a few seconds before they try to throw her in the dungeon. Leo looked at his mother, Nylain, Yuke and then the guard. Without hesitation he stepped in between Lily and the solider.
Yuke still wasn't moveing his head, he stood like that, his head turned away as his pale hair covered his face. The prince touched his face where Lily left a mark, and laughed. Not really loudly, but softly. It did sting, but something told him he deserved that, oh that did sting. For someone who was much shorter than him she could most certainly reach up and slap him hard. He looked at his brother with tears in his eyes but a smile graced his lips.
"..h-h-heir apparent?"Lily stammered in shock, how was she suppose to know that. She had been there for a total of twenty minutes, that wasn't enough time to get to know a world. Not unless they had a book somewhere that was called Valindor in ten minutes. Lily looked at Yuke the boy next to him and then looked past Leo at the guard. What could she say; I'm so sorry, I didn't realize he was a prince. This is actually my first time here'..She inwardly groaned, that was not the first thing to say when everyone seems fairly hostile.
Lily at first stiffened when she heard the man behind her speak. Was he angry at her too, how could he not be? How the second she heard his 'statement' she spun around and crossed her arms. The young woman crossed her arms over her chest and furrowed her eyebrow when she looked at Lathai," Excuse me? I don't even know who you are!"Lily pointed out to him, a bit cruelly but she was trying to get a point across and she couldn't do that nicely.

His twin’s laughter drawing his attention, Nylian looked over to see the tears in his brother’s eyes and a smile on his lips. Grinning in return, shaking his head, he rested his forehead against Yuke’s, not worried about the lady’s daring if his twin wasn’t. Actually, the more he thought about what just happened, the more laughter bubbled up deep within him. True, the lady far overstepped her boundaries by laying her hands on Yuke, especially slapping him, but then again…Yuke’s word choice lacked quite a bit in the manners department. From what Nylian could see, though, both the lady and his twin walked away from the disastrous encounter with little more than wounded pride on both sides…assuming Yuke and he could prevent the overzealous guard from arresting the lovely lady. Before Nylian even had the opportunity to try, though, he heard his uncle speak up…and watched on helplessly as another potential disaster loomed on the horizon.
Chuckling breathlessly, Lathai motioned for the guard to go on about his regular duties, his presence unneeded. Then, he struggled to sit up so he could at least speak without feeling like a lazy lout. Easier said than done, for while his wound was healed, the amount of blood he lost left him feeling as weak as a babe. “Last I checked,” he murmured, managing to at least prop himself up, lifting his gaze to meet the beautiful lady’s. “And assuming my nephews haven’t usurped my position while I was down, I would be the king. King Lathai at your service, my lovely lady. You would be?”

Yuke smiled at his older brother and laughed once again when they rested their foreheads against each other. He didn't want to look over at his uncle, granted it was a given that the man would be tired..but still. Uncle Lathai was a big part of his life and to see like this made his heart crack, slowly threatening to shatter if he dared to look. There was just something a person could not bring there self to do,for Yuke, this was one of them.
Lily looked at Leo, even if she couldn't see his face, Lily knew her son most likely looked exasperated. Slowly she looked back at the 'king' and did what her mind told her. The young woman bowed, her hair falling in front of her face like a pitch black water fall. "I-I'm so sorry,I didn't know!"Lily said quickly, and then opened one of her pale eyes to meet King Lathai's pale gaze,"..Lily Knightway."She told him.

Aware of his twin’s unease, Nylian cupped the back of Yuke’s head, pulling his brother into a warm embrace. “He’s fine, brother mine. Just a little tired, a little worn down, but you know as well as I, Lathai will be up and about by tomorrow,” he whispered softly, unwilling and unable to let his brother worry like that. He felt his twin’s fear and worry, Lathai meaning so much to them even before they were orphaned, and now…he could imagine what their uncle became to Yuke when his brother effectively lost everyone…their parents and Nylian. “We both know our uncle is too strong, too driven, and too stubborn to let anything take him down.”
“Lily Knightway, mother to our little councilman imposter over here,” Lathai noted, his pale gaze flickering to the young man still hiding under his hood. In the next breath, he studied the beautiful young woman before him, well aware she healed his injury, and watched over him while he rested. Grateful or not, though, he wanted to know why these two trespassed in his castle and insinuated themselves into the royal family’s lives. “Now the question is…where are you from? Add to that, why are either of you here? You and your son, who seems to like playing the part of councilman.”

"..how did you?"Leo began to ask, then he quickly shut his mouth. How could he have figured that out his hood was up. Leo thought about the day, recalling what had happened when it hit him. Earlier his hood fell off revealing who he really was, which isn't a councilmen. He looked at Lily, and to have her standing right there it most have been very clear, or to put it bluntly. King Lathai was clearly observant much to Leo's agony.
"Councilmen? I have no idea of what you are talking about, I was looking for him."Lily said. That was very true, Lily was a like a lost child in a store at this point. She had no idea of what was going on,or where she was.

Lathai looked from mother to son and back to mother, a hint of a smile teasing his lips, the corners of his eyes crinkling with amusement. “I think it’d be fair to say you found him…and so much more,” he countered, shooting Leo a look that assured the youth he would get back to him. First things first, though… “Again I ask, where are you from, my dear Lady Lily?”
Nylian lifted his head to look back at his uncle, his gaze snapping to the one he thought was a councilman. Pulling away from his twin long enough to push the hood back, he quietly studied the young man standing there in council robes. His uncle was right, the resemblance between the teenager and the lady uncanny, but that only served to make him nervous. Why were they there? Did they work for Yume? Surely she hadn’t that quickly to drag him back to the Dark Kingdom. Shuddering at the thought, lowering his gaze, he retreated back to Yuke, sinking against his twin, and waiting for the answers to Lathai’s questions. That was assuming Lady Lily answered this time rather than looking like a frightened fawn caught in a hunter’s sights.

Lily thought for a moment, why would she want to cause anymore issues. There was clearly something going on around here and she most certainly did not want to add onto their trouble. With heavy she looked at King Lathai,"..we come from Earth.."Lily said and shut her eyes for a few seconds. Lily then looked at Leo when he spun around and let her go. Leo's hood wasn't on anymore, everyone could see who he was now.. and they could see that icy glare.
Yuke also looked at the councilmen, the word 'imposter' echoing through his mind. Once Leo's hood fell back the teenager cocked his head to the side and then looked at his older brother,"..his a kid."He said softly. But when he saw that icy glare Yuke quickly returned his look and stepped in front of Ny.

Earth? Lathai let that word roll around in his head, his brow furrowing faintly. He’d never heard of such a place, but then why would he have? This Earth Lady Lily spoke of Lathai knew was either on a different world or was a different world all together. Nodding faintly to himself, he reached over and grabbed a small decorative pillow, throwing the satiny object at the faux councilman, pinging it off the back of his head with lethal aim. As confused and curious as Lathai felt right then, he hadn’t missed the sheer attitude coming off the youth nor that the young man aimed his icy glares at Nylian.
“Kindly leave off glaring at my nephew, councilman, for he’s done nothing wrong. This is, after all, his home and he actually is a prince, not an imposter,” Lathai stated quietly, pinning the youth with an icy glare of his own, his enough to make even the strongest men squirm and whimper in fear. “Your mother I understand. She came here looking for you, but you…you have as of yet to explain yourself and my patience runs thin. I’d suggest you explain yourself without any further prompting on my behalf or you’ll take up residence in the dungeon until such time as your tongue loosens.”
Lowering his gaze and looking away from the fake councilman, Nylian slid his hand into Yuke’s, needing that contact to calm his quickly fraying nerves. Just standing there with his twin reminded him that he’d finally returned home, though, that he no longer suffered under Yume’s rule. Perhaps that alone gave him courage because he shifted around Yuke, coming to stand at his twin’s side, silently refusing to back down, to hide behind his brother, to show the fear ripping through his gut. He was home…and he wasn’t leaving ever again, not so long as he could fight, not so long as he could escape the cruel woman determined to rule over his life.

Lily looked at Leo, whom of which had looked back at Lathai. The seventeen year old did not look happy at all, maybe that's why he manged to hold his own with that icy glare on him. He kept himself calm and tried his best to ignore that glare of the apparent kings. He shifted from one foot to the other and looked away with crossed arms. It seemed like it was going to take more than that to get him to answer him,not to mention he did not want Nylain in the room. The lest he cloud do was give him a fake name..for now.
Lathai waited quiet for some kind of response from the young man, giving him the time to overcome whatever kept him silent and answer the question put to him. However, he knew when the faux councilman crossed his arms over his chest and looked away, the youth would not answer him. “I cannot help but feel that somehow in your time sitting on the council you mistakenly came to the conclusion that I’m not a man of my word,” Lathai stated softly, sitting up straighter, his violet eyes locked on the young man attempting to avoid him, denying him the answers he wanted…needed. “Rest assured, as grateful as I am for your help, if you do not answer me, I will have you thrown in the dungeon, and you will remain there until such time as you feel perhaps answering is best for all parties involved.”
