Edward leaps off the wall landing on his feet immediately falling on his belly as he crawled through the mud avoiding the barbwire over head to anyone this would have been exercise but to him it was just another day in the facility. Standing up he salutes standing tall with his buzz haircut and mud up and down his uniform, not a sweat was broken on his face as he stood there made since when your DNA is spliced with a wolfs every single soldier in the facility had some kind of of animal gene in them that's how the world wanted there soldiers now, raised from birth surrounded by cages with only one thing on their mind, to kill.

That was all going to change after tonight, Edward was escaping he had been planing this for months and tonight was the night all his work payed off. Cleaning himself off Edward went to bed like all the others only waited until everything was quite getting up he throws on his uniform slowly starts to walk through the facility hallways, everything was going find until he turns a corner to find a little girl with her tooth brush in hand coming out of the girls bathroom. It wasn't strange to see kids in the facility they trained along side people Edwards age, as she stood there wearing the exact same clothes Edward has on along with the same buzz cut Edward looks at her "Just head to the girls room okay..." walking pass her then running down the hall. Looking through the vent Edward kicks it out once the last patrol turns the corner all that was left was the 12 foot fence blocking his way, taking a deep breath Edwards eyes turn blue as he leaps off the facility wall over the fence jumping into the bushes with a smile on his face. Running into the forest from the hell whole he was glad to leave behind Edward heard footsteps behind turning to see the little girl from before "You've got to be kidding me go away....go back now" the girl didn't move "Dammit find if you can keep up then come but I won't get caught for you", once he finished his sentence alarms began to scream from the direction of the facility "That was a lot faster then I thought, MOVE!!!"

Edward ran for six miles until he found a road the little girl still behind him "We need a car", walking along the road Edward could see a car coming towards them "Speak of the devil..."

Kira was driving home from her friends house she hated the drive since she had to take the road thru the woods, she was driving when she spot a guy and a little girl along the road she thought about it and was about to leave the there and not offer her help but that wasn't her so she stopped pulling her passenger window down "you guys...need help ?" She said as her face hid under her hair.

Edward bends down to look at the women eye to eye through the car door window "Ummm....Yes me and my...Daughter went for a little walk we must have taken a wrong turn somewhere" standing back up he opens the back door looking at the little girl "Get in". The girl looks at the seat then back to Edward the look on her face was that of a kid but more of a new born "Oh crap I forgot you've never seen a car, listen we don't have time for this either you get in or you go back" Edward said pointing in the direction of the facility. The little girl jumps into the car more then aware of what Edward was saying.

Closing the backdoor Edward gets into the passenger seat closing it behind him "Thank you we're just at the next town"

Kira nodded at him as she started to drive again, she looked at the guy smiling but with a doubt on her mind "Well I think you guys really took a wrong turn there I mean you're really far away from the town" Kira chuckled softly as she look to the little girl thru the mirror smiling at her "She's really scared isn't she?" she said as they were getting closer to town. The clouds from the storm were getting closer as it started to rain "I can take you guys all the way to your house just tell me which way to go.."

Edward looks at the women then to the little girl in the back "Yeah, she doesn't exactly like unfamiliar places but shes a stronge girl" he said turning back with his eyes on the road. Everything was going smooth the only hiccup would be the little girl that wasn't a problem Edward couldn't solve dumping her somewhere is the obvious choice "Actually I know shes kind of hungry....You can just...drop us off..." he look into the distance as the car stopped behind another with a check point in front of them.

This wasn't something that Edward saw coming "Does this usually happen a check points like this?"

KIra chuckled looking at him "You ask like if you dont know…but yes they do happen every now and then but its just strange that they have it so far from town" she looked at the girl who look even more scared now "You don't like cops sweetie?" she asked the little girl as they got closer to them.

Edward sighs not believing it was a coincidence that on the same night he escapes a road bloc is put up miles away from town, the facility must have acted on trying to find them faster then he thought. "Its not that she doesn't like cops its just....Alright we don't have time for this" he said turning to the little girl "Stay in your seat soldier and don't move unless I tell you, understand", bulking her seat belt Edward turns back around doing the same "Listen I am really sorry about this ms.

Moving the ladys foot Edward steps on the gas paddle grabs the wheel pulling out of the check point line and driving pass it avoiding any police.

Kira looked at him as he buckled the girl down when he grabbed the wheel and steped on the pedal Kira was trying to push him back to his seat " WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? MOVE MOVE" when she finally got a good grip on the wheel she pushed him back still stepping on the gas pedal, she was mad that he did that but still drove until she couldn't see any police anymore when. When they got to a dark alley she hit the brakes, looking at them both "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" Kira started to hit him "ARE YOU TRYING TO GET ME ARRESTED?,WHAT ABOUT YOU LITTLE GIRL SHE MUST BE SCARED TO DEATH"

Edward looks around in a panic as he sits in the car hearing the women scream as he ignores her only to the point til she starts to hit him "STOP CUT IT OUT" putting her hands to her side as he looks at the little girl seeing the surprise expression on her face "She's fine the only reason she looks like that is because its her first time in a car".

"Listen I'm sorry about what I did it was crazy but I'm telling you it was all for a good reason some bad people want us and actually now you too"

Kira looked at him pulling her hands away grabbing the wheel squeezing it hard "Why? … Why are they looking for you guys? well us? whats going on?" she shook her head looking at him then back to the streets looking around for cops. "well for the car they're gonna find out where I live…goddamn it"

Edward rolls his eyes annoyed by the questions she was throwing at him "I would love to answer these questions but as you said they saw your car and I know they're going to sniff us out in a second so lets go or not I really don't care you can stay, you outta the car lets go" he gets out of the car opening the backdoor watching as the little girl jumps out.

"Nice knowing you, I would get real far from here" walking away from the car Edward looks around sniffing out any smells that shouldn't be there when he lays his eyes on a laundromat.

Kira looked at them angry at him for rolling his eyes "oh my god I swear I don't even know why I'm doing this" she reached for her purse getting all her cash out before getting out of the car throwing her car keys at him "DO NOT IGNORE ME" she yelled at him before following him and the little girl.

Edward walks into the mostly empty laundromat heading straight to the back were the drys are, opening one of the drys he goes through the clothes looking for anything that might be in his size he finds a kids shirt with pants and hoodie "Here throw this on....Why are you looking at me like that" seeing the sour face the little girl had as she then points to the lady walking in "Yea I don't care about her right now we need to change clothes, get something to eat, and then get moving" throwing the clothes to the little girl.

Opening the dry next to him he finds some clothes in his size just a sweater with jeans all he needed. Just before he could turn around to to to the lady he sees the little girl about to get undress in the middle of the laundromat "What are you doing?!" he said remembering where shes been her entire life.

Kira looked at him then at the girl "I guess you don't have any money right now huh? Or a place to go? So you're as stuck with me as I am with you two" she grabbed the little girls clothes and her hand walking with her to the back of some washing machines helping her change "what's your name?" She asked as she grabbed her hair in a pony tail.

"We are not stuck together, Its me and the kid an as soon as I find a place for her its just me" Edward watch as she took the girl behind the dryers as he got himself together in front watching as some of the people in the laundromat watch him. Listening in on the girls Edward chuckles "She doesn't talk or have you not been listening to the many conversations we've been having....It isn't weird for kids like her not to talk I use to be the same that place does it to you and as for a name we don't get one until we reach our teens"

Once done he throws the clothes in a dryer before walking to meet the girls waiting for them to come out.

"Asshole" she mumble as they came out from behind the dryers she walked towards him still holding the little girls hand "follow me please" she said pulling the little girl with her as she walked outside then up the street to get something to eat. As they walked down the street a cop car pass by, Kira turned towards him grabbing his arm holding it smiling at him, as the cops turned on the corner. "I don't care what you do just let me help her she looks hungry and I'm not about to let you treat her like an adult" she said as she walked inside the dinner still holding the little girl.

Edward walked behind them with an annoyed look on his face sitting across from them where they sat "You know anyone ever tell you you care to easily....I know you think your doing the right thing but she isn't exactly a kid, if she wanted to she could kill everyone in her with her bare hands just like me" looking over at the little girl "This was not part of the plan at all and know I'm stuck like this"

"Yes I know and if it wasn't cuz I care so easily you would still be in the woods freezing cold along with a little girl and I would be sitting at home warm and cozy but instead I'm sitting here trying to help an asshole who's stuck with a kid he doesn't even see as a kid" she ordered something for the little girl turning towards him "you want anything?" As the waiter left she turned to him again "and there is a difference between can and want" Kira started to get really anxious but try to hide it but she couldn't control her fingers tapping on the table as she looked out the window.

"Burger and fries please" Edward said as the waiter walked away "Well you were just at the wrong place at the wrong time but I guess is she wasn't me you wouldn't have stopped so thanks for that kid" looking over at the little girl. Edward could see as he women was getting anxious as she tapped the table "Would you calm down no ones coming if they were me or her would have noticed it by now be cool lets just say I have a little wolf in me that helps us out and she has from what I can smell a little cat in her"

Once the food came Edward ate like it was his last meal before death row, he never got food like this in the facility only heard about it so he was going to enjoy it, "So what's your name?....I figure you handled yourself pretty good out there with the cops so if we're going to be traveling together might as well know each others name, I'm Edward"
