She rest her head on her hands watching them eat "oh I thought it was only you and the kid" she said in a mocking voice "Kira..." She looked around slowly then took a deep breath "well Edward would you mind telling me the story behind my escape from the cops? And why the hell do you treat her like a soldier?" She said as she started to play with the littlest girl hair.

Edward smirks at the smart comment that came out of Kira mouth before having another fry "I treat her like a soldier because she is one we both are we been one since the day we were technically born....We're test tube babies with our DNA genetically altered to be the perfect soldiers". Looking over at the little girl Edward sits back with a look of ease on his face "I escaped from the facility that they kept us in and she followed, the cops are just looking for two people and man and kid but I know they are sending soldiers just like us to clean up this mess which means they are going to kill us because if this gets out that they're doing this every single one of them is going to the electric chair"

Kira listen carefully to him "well then we shouldn't let them find us huh?" She smiled softly at him "but it's really late right now and if we just walk around they're gonna find us...we need to rest...but where?" She started thinking tapping her fingers lightly on the table when suddenly a wide smile appeared on her face "I know my friends studio...I go there all the time...to finish projects...it's always empty... No one knows about it... He won't mind at all..I mean I'd that doesn't bother you?"

Kira was right the facility would be looking for them all night and with the cops along with them it would be impossible for all three of them to get away, "Alright that sounds good but first thing in the mourning we are on the road no excuse". Edward sighs looking out the window using his ears to listen around the dinner for anything that shouldn't be there only his ears keep coming to the little girl eating like crazy "Slow it down, the food isn't going anywhere....You need a name I'm tired of calling you kid and it"

Looking at Kira he showed and obvious look on his face "Well name her....You want her she's you responsibility first responsible thing you should do is name her"

Kira chuckled looking at the little girl then back at Edward raising her eyebrow "me?..."she looked at the girl again smiling tilting her head at her "what about Lilly do you like the name?" She said turning back at Edward.

Kira was looking towards the door in the dinner when two officers came in sitting down to eat as if nothing was wrong, she looked at Edward asking for the check.

Edward saw as the two cops came in sitting down the expression on his face became serious in an instant as he grab the knife on the table, he would be able to take out one of he cops like he knows Lily would be able to do it just as easy as he can. This can end in a number of ways and once the check came Kira payed for it giving him an idea "Come on Honey lets get home and put this one day before she falls asleep at the dinner" Edward picks lily feeling her grip her arms around his neck "She must really be tired" talking to the cops staring at them.

Kira finished paying and got up holding Edwards hand looking at him then back at the cops " yes dear...good night officers" she said pulling him towards the door and walking down the street, "it's this way it's not too far from here" she told him as she was still holing his hand looking back. They walked close to 5 more blocks before stoping in front of a building that looked empty, she walked towards the entrance grabbing a key that was on top of the dork frame opening it for them "come on... Lights are to the left" she said closing the door behind her.

Edward flicked on the lights seeing an apartment 10 times smaller then the room him and the other soldiers slept in together, it just look lie one really big bedroom with a kitchen next to the front door, a small living room area wiht a nice couch and chairs pointed at the tv on the wall, and the bed near the windows "Check the windows soldier while I check the bathroom" Edward walks to the bathroom flicking the light on not seeing anything out of the ordinary. Flicking the light off he sees Lily staring out the window, looking at him she signs with her hands that everything is clear before looking back out the window "She says everything is fine, but to be safe try not to go to the windows".

Edward falls to the couch rubbing the back of his head looking at Kira "I bet if you went back to when you woke up, you wouldn't see your day ending like this"

Kira chuckled "nope not even close...but it seems right tho" she chuckled again shaking her head looking at Edward "where are we gonna go from here?" She gave him a soft smile while she sat down on the couch crossing her legs while letting her hair down resting her head against the couch.

"Well there isn't any place the facility isn't going to be looking for us and now that I have you and Lily I have to be careful about the moves we make....Best thing they taught me in that hell hole, you want to disappear you do it in a sea of people so we find a city get you two settled and we deal with things from there". Edward looks at Kira up and down smirking "You know your not fooling anybody, you like this I saw the look on your face earlier"

"Well I think you might be right, I mean I have never done anything out of what my parents asked of me I'm a good girl always have... Good grades,no troubles, just a couple of friends never went out " Kira looked down then back at Edward "but this ...this is something amazing...I know it's horrible to say it but it's the best thing that has happen to me"

"Oh please don't tell me your a rich kid that is the last thing I need to deal with right now.....either way you say that now but trust me these people that are coming for us aren't going to stop and somewhere down the line your going to hate me and Lily for getting you into this" Edward lays back getting comfortable only to have Lily tap him in the knee throwing more sign language at him "How are you still hungry you just ate?....Fine the kitchens over there go nuts and if you see a bottle that says beer bring it back here"

Kira laughed shaking her head "Yes and no...but well Lilly I don't know but you on the other hand" she chuckled again "I'm just kidding, just kidding" she looked at Lilly then at Edward getting up and walking to the kitchen "I know you're older than her but don't boss her around" she grabbed a couple of beers from the fridge then letting Lilly get whatever she wanted while walking back to the sofa giving him one of the beer as she sat down "here.."

"A beer drinker?" Edward takes the beer from Kira popping it open "your really fully of surprises" he said taking a sip of his beer. Turning his head Edward watches as Lily moves about the kitchen "You shouldn't treat her like that she's a solider and the more you treat her soft the harder its going to be for us to get around, I need the killer that's inside not some snot nose kid that can't even tie her shoes without her mommy around"

Lily walks into the living room T.V remote in one hand box of cereal in another sitting on the couch between Edward and Kira turning on the T.V.

Kira looked at Lilly then back at Edward "She still a kid…seriously don't you think she got treated like that for a long time what she is…what you guys are…that doesn't mean you guys need to be treat it like if you guys had no feelings… she should enjoy being a kid" she took a sip of her beer then she stare down at the bottle chuckling to herself as she kept drinking.

Kira started to yawn looking at her watch "Let me call my friend just so he won't happen to come and take a look at this place" She said as she got up grabbing the phone walking to the restroom sitting on top of the countertop -Hey…yeah its me…no I'm ok I'm just … I don't know.. I just needed to be alone so…yeah hehe don't worry… just the same ol thing… Ill call you when Im about to leave ok…ok thanks-

Edward knew Kira was right that this was no life for a kid a kid should be playing and having fun with other kids not wondering where a bullet would be coming from.

"She's right it is getting pretty late we should get some sleep" Edward took the box of cereal out of Lilys hand as she tries to take it back "Yea we're done with this....I get you like having your freedom but remember where we came from and who we are dealing with". Lily started to sign furiously with her hands almost to the point of where Edward could barley keep up "I can only protect you so much you being here wasn't part of the plan so you gotta meet me half way Lily, which means you do what I say when I say to everyone else your just a kid but to me for now your soldier"

Lily looks over at Kira sitting in the bathroom with a slight smile on her face, she turns to Edward signing in a way completely different then before "What do you care if something happens to her you just meet her a couple hours ago....Yea I'll keep an eye out for her to but you need to to to bed, I'll take first watch I'll wake you when its your turn"

Lily stomps to the bed in anger jumping on it laying down facing the window.

Kira hanged the phone rubbing her eyes lightly yawning as she walked out of the bathroom "there everything its fine now,,,for now anyways" she walked towards the closet and grabbed a blanket and pillows for Edward "You should rest Im telling you were fine here…trust me" she said as she walked towards the bed taking off her boots putting them neatly next to the bed as she started to undo her pants to take them off so she could sleep.

Edward tossed the blankets on the couch before getting up and sitting near the window where Lily was, there was a good view where he could see if anyone was thinking of sneaking on them tonight. Keep his eyes out the window he glanced over to Kira as she took her pants off to get comfortable "Great ass....You can't get mad at me for that it was a compliment and remember I haven't seen a women in lingerie.... Ever this is a first and it is not a disappointment"

Kira chuckled blushing looking at Edward as she laid down "you really are something Edward ..you really are"

Kira fell asleep but was awake a couple of hours later clinging to her pillow her heart bit up and scared just to find Edward exactly where she left him before going to sleep "you should sleep you need to rest too you know?" She said to him as she got up to get a glass of water.

Edward sat at the window listening to Kira speak as she got her glass of water, his eyes never left the streets as he look down on it "Maybe your right its really quite and they would have made a move by now" getting up from the window Edward walks over to Lily sighing as he pulled the blankets over her "Guess theirs no reason to wake her now....She actually looks more like a little girl then a killer when she sleeps"

Walking over to the couch Edward takes the pillow throwing it to head of the couch falling on it soon after throwing it "You know if I didn't know any better, I might think you care about my well being" looking over to Kira.
