Kira chuckled "why wouldn't I care about you...I mean you haven't done anything to me.. You're taking care of a little girl that literally means nothing to you I mean you're a good guy after all despite what you think" she just smiled at him before sitting on the bed again.

Edward turns with his eyes to the ceiling "Maybe your right but I can tell you when we were escaping taking care of her was the last thing that was on my mind....I really don't want to go back there and I know Lily would rather die then go back to that hell hole either" closing his eyes he smirks as he started to fall sleep.

"Get some sleep, we've got a drive ahead of us I'll wake you when we're ready to go"

Kira went back to sleep they slept until the sun came up, Kira woke up sitting up on the bed looking around, Edward and Lilly were still asleep she walked towards him moving him lightly trying to wake him up "hey Edward wake up... It's morning already"

Edwards eyes spring open as he grabs Kira throat squeezing tightly letting go seconds later when he saw who he was chocking "Oh my god I'm sorry I don't know it was you it's" sitting Kira on the couch he looks at her neck to make sure he didn't break anything "Its a reflex one of the first things they thought us, if you were anyone else you'd be dead"

Kira chuckled as she coughed shaking her head while looking at Edward "Wel I'm glad you know me huh?" She turned to look at lilly to see if she had woken up "do you think we'll be leaving soon if not so I can go get something to eat before we do" she said as she walked towards the kitchen to get some water.

Glancing over towards Lily Edward look to Kira "No we don't have time for that and I don't think we should split up" walking to the kitchen he pours himself a glass of water "LILY!, LETS GO SOLDIER TIME TO MOVE!". Lily moved around in her bed before getting up standing straight ready for anything just like a soldier "Head to the bathroom we move out once you get outta there"

Kira shock his head looking at Edward "Really now?!? God I hate that I swear...ugh" She walked towards the bed starting to get dress again as she tied her boots she started to think how were they gonna move around the city " hey are we gonna travel around in a car? Where are we going?" She sat straight biting her nail while thinking.

Edward sighs as Kira walked to the bed he still doesn't see how he was in the wrong but it didn't matter at the moment "We're heading to the nearest city for a little while a big one and if my navigation skills are right the closest one is New York its a couple hundred miles but nothing we can't handle with the car I'm about to steal....Soon as I find it"

Walking to the window Edward looks out into the streets finding a car that was fast yet under the radar "So you want to tell me what I did wrong just know are are you just going to hold it in for later and then yell at me?"

Kira stood up making a check mark in the air "adding grand theft auto to the list of crimes...check" she chuckled.

She looked down as she heard the question "you say that as if you knew me..but no..I mean I know it's not something bad for you since that's all you guys know you been trained for this...but she still just a kid...and maybe it's because I was forced to grow up faster than everyone I know...maybe that's why I see her and see myself..I don't know" she chuckled softly still looking down "I'm sorry if that bothers you...I really am"

"....I know shes a kid I just....I don't know how to communicate with her...metaphorically anyway, she' known you all of 12 hours and she's more attached to you then me, how does that happen?". Edward leans on the wall starting at the cars at the diner they were at last night a couple of blocks away, one grabs his attention not because he wanted to steal it but because it didn't seem right.

"Hey come over tell me what car you want to add to hour list of crimes lets see if you have any taste"

"Well for once I don't treat her like a soldier, second I treat for what she is a child" she shrugged.

"Well the less I know the less I can say during interrogation..." She chuckled walking towards him looking out the window "well my dad always said that muscle cars are always better so... That one" she said pointing at a 64 ford mustang that was parked in front "yes?"

"A 64 ford Mustang?....No that just screams look at me plus we have a kid what if a cops pulls us over, not a great choice but now I know what kind of guys your attracted to" Edward smirks bring his eyes to the car that kept popping up at him. Lily comes out of the bathroom rubbing here eyes still tired "We gotta go something isn't right that car....Kira stay with Lily you hold her hand the entire time and do not let go I want you to go with her behind the building I think I saw a couple cars there Lily can hot wire them, right?"

Lily nodded her head up and down in a panic "Good take the back stairs and meet me in front of the buliding I'm gonna pack up some of this food for the road"

Kira chuckled at edwards comment "oh no fun.." kira looked at edwards nodding asshe grabbed lillys hand walking towards the back of the building looking for a car "that one.." kira pointed to the only black four door car "well do your magic lilly" she said smiling at her as lilly began to hotwire the car.

Edward watches as Kira runs out the door with Lily before he grabs a book bag stuffing it with whatever food that wouldn't spoil, once he was done he runs out int the hallway only to get kicked back into the apartment. Lifting himself up off the floor he gazed upon a familiar face "Dam Go have you gotten bigger since the last time we spoke" he said looking at them an that stood 6 feet tall with muscles covering his entire body "Listen we don't have to feet they aren't here they don't control you"

"You never understood Edward, this is life to us and the more you run the more its going to chase now your coming with me along with that little bitch downstairs", Go run towards Edward carrying him into the air then slamming him against the wall laying in punch after punch. Edward could barley move after taking Gos punches until he grabs one laying in a punch himself before kicking him to the kitchen "God your an idiot....All you have to do is run and they wont catch....please Go" Edward could barley stand.

"They will and deep down you know they will and the worst part is you got that women involved in this and now she ha to die for your mistake" Go runs at Edward again this time pushing him throw the window on to the fire escape.

Kira kept looking at her watch looking around the building for Edward "come on what's taking you..." She walked back towards the car to check on Lilly who was just looking around, when Kira got close to the car they heard the window break and Edward being pushed "EDWARD!!!!" Kira screamed looking up at him. She reached into the car looking at Lilly as she opened the trunk and get the wrench out running towards the apartment door wide open "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" She yelled at the stranger while runing towards him pushing him as she hit him with the wrench to the side looking at Edward.

Edward saw as Go arm left his side to hit Kira coming at him rising his arm he reveals a gun tucked under his pants side, grabbing the gun Edward hold it up to Gos ear shooting it making Go fall to the floor with his hands covering his ears in front of Kira "Lets go before he gets up!" grabbing Kiras arm running out the door then out of the building.

Edward opens the car door pushing Kira pass the steering wheel to the passengers seat "Hold this and buckle up....Both of you" looking in the rear view mirror he sees Lily already with her seat belt. Just before heading the gas a Go crashes to the ground completely destroying the car in front of them, heading the gas Edward runs him over driving out of town and on the road.

Kira screamed as the man landed on the car covering her mouth as Edward ran him over, as they drove out of town Kira looked back the whole way checking for someone following them, her hands shaking as she looked at Edward "Are you ok?, who was that?" She said taking a deep breath undoing her seatbelt leaning towards him.

"Am I okay? Are you out of your mind, Why would you go running in a middle of a fight knowing the man is a monster? He could have done some serious damage to you if not kill you" Edward continues to look in the rear view mirror making sure they weren't followed, he knew if they weren't there now they aren't following them. "I'm fine he could have killed me but I think all he wanted to do was knock me out"

Kira shook her head looking at Edward as she checked his face carefully "He was kicking your ass what did you expected me to do just sit there and watch and wait for him to knock you out then take you and lilly...like hell I was honna let him" she said sitting on her place back again taking a deep breath smiling "so where are we going now?"

Edward pushes her hand from his face as he drove "At the moment we just have to get off of this road I know Go contacted anyone one else looking for us and since he saw which way we are going they're going to be watching this road" driving Edward sees a dirt road ahead making a sharp left he turns on to it feeling the bumps along the way. "And he wasn't kicking my ass I had him where I wanted him he on the other hand could have killed you with one punch then what would have happen to...." Edward glances at Lily through the rear view mirror shaking it off "That was completely reckless "
