Kira shrugged as she started eating her fries "I told you..its up to you if you want to rest I just wanted to know if you didnt have anything broken...if youre hurt you cant protect us.."

Kira kept eating as she pushed her fries around the plate smiling everytime she looked at Lily her face brought peace to her and Kira couldnt explain why. Kira looked at Edward while he was paying attention to his food smiling softly.

"I can protect you two just fine" Edward says taking a bite of his burger "Well you more then Lily..". Sitting there Edward noticed how Kira looked at Lily smiling for no reason at all it reminded him of how he smiled back at the cabin, he was curious where his smile came from just as Kira's smile before he could ask Lily spoke.

"Ed where is my mommy and daddy? I know we are born in the facility but everyone has a mommy and daddy" Lily says looking right at Edward. Staring back at her with a french fry in his mouth Edward was a lost for words he stares at Kira with his mouth open confuse.

Kira looked at Lily then back at Edward trying her best not to laugh at his face "I grew up without really knowing my parents too.."she lied "but I always had people that cared for me..like Edward and I do you" She wrapped her arms around Lily "so never feel alone for that matter okay?" She said smiling at her.

Edward puts up a smile at Lily as Kira held her in her arms "She's right just because you don't have parents as long as you have us you don't really need them" he says looking from Lily to Kira smiling this time because he couldn't stop even if he wanted to. "Okay....but if you and Kira were my mommy and daddy would that mean you like her?" Lily said looking from Edward to Kira as she held her.

Edward sighs as he rubs his neck "You are a real chatter box today aren't you?" looking to Kira smiling "Though she isn't wrong, maybe you should answer her tell her if you like me or not" he said with an even bigger smile on his face.

Kira looked at Edward blushig with a smile on her face "Hey thats cheating she asked you..so you answer first..dont put this on me" she said chuckling blushing even more, the red on her cheeks made her eyes glow ever brighter than them. Kira looked at Lily smiling "But Ill tell you l..." kira said before she got interrupted by the sound of some tires screetching what made all of them look out side.

Edward sat there his eyes on Kira waiting to hear her answer curious on the inside while he stayed calm on the outside, before he got his answer he hears tires screeching outside pulling Kira to the floor while Lily fell under the table. Looking over the table Edward sees a couple of men joined by more stopping in a car right next to theirs, as they stood there together figuring out a plan Edward looks to Kira "Alright , their trying to figure how to come in here we can sneak out the back before they surround us....Stay with me like always okay" he says smiling before grabbing kiras hand.

"Soldier grab Kiras hand and don't let go" Edward said while getting up, pulling Kira with Lily behind Edward moves to the back passing through the kitchen out the backdoor. Walking causally Edward cross the street looking for a car "All we have to do is get a car and we're outta he-" before he could finish his sentence a car comes speeding down the road Edward knew it was Go right away.

Seeing a department store Edward looks to it "RUN!" he said as they run towards the store.

Kira pulled Lily closed as they started to run towards the store, when they went in there was a lot of people around them. The three of them stopped in the middle of the store looking for a way out while Edward kept a eye out for Go, Kira grabbed his hand tighter as she point towards their left to the back of the store "we can out thru there..the emergency exits"

Looking towards the back Edward pulls the girls in that direction moving through the people as the stood there looking at them. As they moved through the store the three man stood in front of it evenly apart from each other holding their guns up to the store and begun firing wave after wave of bullets, Edward pulls Kira down along with Lily hiding themselves behind a shelf.

The bullets tear through the store hitting everything and everyone until they stopped that meant one of two things they ran out of bullets which was less likely or they're coming into so see if they were dead either way Edward knew they had to move now "Lets go" he said pulling them up exiting the store.

"Find a car get it running" he says breaking the doorknob to the backdoor "We have 3 minutes tops for them to search the entire store". Edward lied to them it was half that but the worst thing was he didn't have the strength to take any of them on especially Go, if it came down to him and Go Edward would be dead.

Kira looked at Edward as Lily pulled her towards a car getting in it getting it running quickly getting in the passenger seat letting Edward drive "Come on..." Looking at Lily Kira couldnt hide her fear for them, she turned back looking at the door where they came out of biting her lip waiting to see someone following them, closing her eyes Kira felt her heart pounding against her chest as her eyes glow brighter.

Edward moves backwards as fast as he can towards this car his eyes not leaving the backdoor of the department store, once far enough away from hit he runs to the car at the same time the door is kicked down followed with bullets being shot at them. Jumping in the car Edward starts it taking off down the street making a turn towards the road out of town.

Edward looks to the girls to see if everyone was alright only to stay stuck on Kiras eyes as he looks to them and the road at the same time, driving down the street Edward sees Go at the end of it ready to stop the car with all his strength hitting the gas with everything Edward drove straight towards him praying this would work.

Kira put her hands on the dashboard looking at Go as a creepy smile appear on her face turning towards Edward "Do it..." almost a chuckle escaped her lips as she turned her look towarss Go again her nail scratching the dashboard as they grew slowly her eyes glowing still as they did.

Edward turns his head back to the road with Go between them and getting away clean, dropping his foot on the gas Edward made eye contact with Go as he got ready too take the full force of the car. With the speed of the car Edward knew their was no way Go could stop it and live but Edward glances to his right to Kira then to Lilly, leaning the car to the right he drives to Go clipping him watching through the rear view mirror as he feel to the ground in pain.

Driving up to the cabin Edward stops in front of his sighing "Lily go in the cabin and chill out I gotta talk grown stuff with Kira" he says looking at the mirror watching as Lily hesitates to move "Go...". Lily leaves the car giving Edward time to talk with Kira "What was that?" he says looking to the scratches then to her eyes.

The same look was on Kira's face as she watch Lily walking towards the cabin, as she heard Edward her eyes turned to him seeing the seriousness on his look hers turned back to normal as her eyes followed his towards the scratches asking her cross her arms hiding her hands under them "I ..I don't know ...I'm sorry... I'm so sorry " she looked down making her eyes lose that glow from before. She started to rock on her seat lightly as she looked down mumbling to herself "this can't happen it's not supposed to happen..I'm sorry"

Edward watches as Kira began to rock back and fourth realizing he might have messed up, grabbing her hand he holds it tight hopping it would stop her rocking "Kira, clam down I'm sorry I'm not mad at the fact that you did it I just don't Lily to see you like that" Edward says turning to her "She's seen a lot of things in that facility some of which made her not speak and she trusts you more then me....I just don't want to see her go back to be that scared girl again"

Kira stopped and looked at Edward nodding as she took a deep breath "Im so sorry I wont let it happen again" She grabbed his hand tightly "I promise... We should go inside and pack everything so we can leave this place before your friend returns..." She looked at him still a bit lost on her thoughts "You said they could find you by your scent right... maybe thats what we need to hide..Do you think if we find a place near the water that would do it?"

"That might do it not by much but it'll give us a slight advantage" Edward says before getting out the car, sniffing around he tries to find the closes river this might not work but it was better then nothing. "There's one about 3 miles lets pack up and get moving", Edward ran into the house packing up everything that they brought and what was left in the cabin. Looking through the closets Edward fines camping equipment giving him an idea, walking over to Kira "I have an idea, the next town is about 40 kilometers pass the one we just came from then after that the city is just a half day away by car, so I think if we camp it out tonight we can be at the next town by tomorrow night plus they won't find us in the woods"

Kira nodded as her and Lily put everything in the bags "We'll do what you think its best" she said as she was zipping up her hoodie putting it over her head hiding her face behind her face just as the first time they met, Kiras eyes never left the floor while they were packing even when she was talking to Edward.

Edward could feel the timidness coming from Kira as she spoke to him the same feeling he'd gotten when she was lock in her room, at first Edward thought he was over thinking things until she put her hoodie's hood over her head hiding her face. This wasn't something that he could fix right now they had to be far away from here with Go hot on their tracks, grabbing the camping supplies Edward walks to Lily smiling down at her "You ready for a camping trip soldier just like we were taught"

Lily nodded her smiling as she throws her backpack over her back ready to go. "Alright Kira lets get moving we should hit that river just before it gets dark" Edward says leaving the cabin with Lily right behind him, he figures whatever was bothering Kira was something the fresh air could fix.

Kira grabbed her backpack following them without lifting her head "Lets go..." Kira walked looking down at the floor until she felt Lily wrap her arms around her left arm "Hi there" she said in almost a whisper when she looked at Lily smiling softly without noticing it a tear ran down her cheek as she forgot for a moment what had happened earlier, Kira looked forward as she put her free hand on top of Lily's arms.

After an hour walk Edward lays his eyes on the river as it over looked a waterfall. Turning his head to see Kira walk out from the trees with Lily on her arm Edward wanted to smile but couldn't after seeing the hood still over Kiras face, "Looks like we made it just before it got real dark I think theirs a tent in the bag soldier you want to help put it up" he says looking to Lily, it didn't matter if Edward was going to ask Kira because he knew what Lily was going to do.

Lily smiles at Edward then to Kira as she pulled Kira towards the clearing, Edward stares at Lily figuring she would do most of the work for him now he had to do the rest himself, somehow.
