Here's the rundown: Your character decides how they will respond to being told to fight the character above them using these fun little options.
1. Head first fight, they can and will take them down.
2. They can or think they can take them in a fight, but they won't.
3. They might be able to, but they would never. They don't want to fight.
4. They definitely cannot and would probably die-
5. Custom [Answer that doesn't fit any above.]

"I cannot be troubled to fight unnecessarily, in particular with a minor," Sherlock sniffed haughtily.
He gave the large-tailed child a sweeping glance. The chanting, baiting calls encouraging fisticuffs with this bizarre young lad disgusted the consulting detective. Sherlock then approached Hotaru and pitched himself forward into a bow of sorts in order to level with the other. He offered the tanuki an opportunity to abandon this tomfoolery with a supplicating look.
"I think our best option is to take our leave of this -- while I'm used to settings such as these from my arena days, this is no place for a child."
[ Seems like option 3 is the preferred choice of a rather protective Mr. Sherlock Holmes... ]

Amu looked down onto the human despite only being 5’10” at the shoulder. Easily as heavy as an adult male polar bear the sphinx was incredibly lazy and flopped onto the floor and slow blinked at him.
“I have no need to fight you, seems like a waste of perfectly good energy.” She purred. Like most felines if told she had to do something she’d refuse or do the opposite, whichever suited her mood at the time.

Jinxx takes a moment to observe the sphinx standing before her, clearly intimidated by their size.
"...Oh hell no-"
[Option 4]
"Easy there!" He gave a small smile, holding his hands up to show that he had no intention of fighting the individual infront of him. While the singer had been one to fight in his younger years and definitely still had the skill to do so again, he knew there would be no reason to fight. Not if he wanted to keep his anger in check.
"How about we settle this over a drink instead? My treat!" Hoping that would clear things up, the tall male made sure to keep his distance, still not wanting to risk the other going for a swing.

"I might be able to take you, but definitely not without a memory to avoid it in the future." Clyde shrugged slightly, "But I'd like to avoid it now."
Option 3
Option 3
"I can’t fight for no reasons, if you tried to steal my belongings, maybe.
If you endangered my friends? You bet i will."
Do you want a dedicated song? I can do that for you."

"As easy as it would be, I see no reason to. Yes, I am looking at an abhuman of some sort, but there is no point in ending it's existence simply because it is." Messinius has chosen option 2.
Insulted, the Son of Sanguinius would curl his lip in disgust at the question. "I would destroy the party demanding I attack Captain Messinius. I shall never draw the blood or bring harm to one of my brothers. I shan't dishonor myself or The Emperor." Option 5
"If you are a threat, i must take you down quickly in the 72hrs-24hrs.
I need a solid reason and more instructions for that.
As you may appear to be innocent, i will consider leaving you living your life, until the next signal."

4. They definitely cannot and would probably die.
Here is how I imagine a story like this going:
Bringing a scary beast to a comedy fight just never ends well for the former.

TW: the dog dies
Vince will be full werewolf for this. He will kill off a few MI7 at the start of the whole ordeal, to show off how dangerous he is. It will be the one serious moment.
There will be talks about how dangerous he is, and he will go at Johnny in a frighting chase, where Johnny only gets barely away with his life.
Then, at the second meeting, he will chase Johnny down again, and trap him in the pet store… where Johnny will throw whatever is at hand at him in desperation.
Until he grabs a squeaky toy, and Vince suddenly stops his attempted killing spree and sits up. His eyes will follow every motion of the squeaky toy.
At which point Johnny will just throw it far away in an attempt to get rid of Vince.
It will probably land on the street, and as Vince jumps after the squeaky toy, he will be hit by a silverware-delivery truck.

"I could fight against you and win a bit too easily, but i do not know you, nor what you did before.
I pass this one challenge, i’m sorry, but it wouldn’t be a fair fight."
Option 3.

"It wouldn't be hard for me to win the fight, if I really needed to fight. For the sake of things, though, I do not intend to fight you unless you give me a reason."

"I am more than willing to spar with you, but I don't have any reason to full on fight"
