I'm all stoked about this here guy I recently created and I would love to throw him out into the world to play.
I'm looking for original characters from Medieval- or High Fantasy settings. Fancy lords and ladies that need a problem taken care of, or crime lords and ladies with more illicit problems that need muscle. Fellow mercenaries and adventurers are welcome too! Maybe they can band up for a job that is too big for them separately? Perhaps you have a character that isn't an adventurer at all, but simply needs to be escorted to safety, or maybe they are the target of some nefarious plot my character is hired to track down. I don't know! Anything is possible.
If you're interested, don't hesitate to let me know!

I want to RP with you but I have no idea what character to use /useless
Yeeeessss. We must RP.
You have so many characters, though! Can you throw me a handful of names that you think you'd like to use? Halp.

Oh dear. I am intrigued. I only have one character's profile finished at the moment, though I have a plethora of other sorts of characters floating around in my head.
That character -could- make a colleague, possibly, depending on the situation. Really, he'd more likely be a target if the locals decide they need some outside help in getting rid of the terrifying monster lurking about their hills.
That's my initial idea, if you're interested, but I'm open to just about anything. Different plots, different characters, whatever

LOL Yes, I'm sorry. I'm addicted to making characters
Abraxus is a minotaur mercenary, so he could be hired on to do some work.
Bastien and Guinne are monster hunters/mercs so they could also be hired.
As for lords and ladies, I don't have many that aren't tied up elsewhere or still part of a kingdom But I do have some crime lords. Ro Charla Hauk is a pirate and she likes to get herself in some trouble.

OH. I have...an idea. I have several characters who could take advantage of a mercenary.
One is "Lord Daren Chase"--a "Time" Lord, I suppose you could say. /dies at the terrible joke/ *coughs* Anyway, he could possibly hire some mercenaries to take care of a certain "disowned" son of his (Arien Chase, whom I also play).
Another would be a bounty hunter whom I do not have listed (Jasper) who is out to catch Kate Smytheson, and could therefore have ties with Bane through mercenary-ish work. (I'm not sure if bounty hunters and mercenaries work together--but Jasper is just desperate and rich enough that he could employ one.) He'd pay good money for Bane to either kill or haul in Kate alive.
Also...it could be fun to have multiple people in on the RP. I dunno, just tossing the ideas out there.

@Allyne
Wow, that is such an amazing character! I most definitely would like to RP with that one! I read you are okay with pulling him out of Scotland and putting him in a fantasy world but I think that’s a little bit of a waste of the lovely concept you’ve got going. I used to have a historical fantasy character that was half-viking (invader in England) and half-Ljósálfar (or light elf, from Norse mythology). I deleted him because I never used him, but I could bring him back. His light elf descent gave him a massively prolonged lifespan so he’d be walking around north-east England and possibly the rest of Europe in the same time periods as your Kier (maybe even in modern times – both relics from a forgotten age), and I’m thinking it would be awesome if those two got to meet! Whaddaya think?
@f0x
I thought this was going to make choosing easier, but aarghfgh the choices. How is it possible that you have so many characters and yet each of them is as lovely as the previous? Bastien and Bane might clash hilariously, or they might get along just fine. And I’d throw Bane at Abraxus just to see what he would do when faced with a 7’4” Minotaur he couldn’t possibly hope to intimidate. I think Guinne and Bane might get along marvelously. That, or they’ll be insufferable grumps to each other. EITHER WOULD BE FUN. Hauk is probably entirely out of Bane’s comfort zone, which could be awesome, and she strikes me as the kind of person Bane actually wouldn’t mind working for.
TOO MANY OPTIONS. Any of those you like in particular?
@PenGryphon
I love both ideas! Hunting down a disowned son is just the type of thing Bane should be suited for. And upon finding Arien he might or might not decide to forsake his agreement. Arien seems the kind Bane would have sympathy for, and Lord Daren, being a Lord, is the type Bane does not particularly like, but then again he did take the job and he has a reputation of a reliable mercensary to uphold. Possible interesting conflict there!
I think bounty hunters and mercenaries can definitely team up or be employed by one another, especially if the target is particularly hard to find, so the Jasper/Kate idea works too!
Which of your two ideas do you prefer?

/is the worst at making decisions.
I guess the first question is, do you want to play a game with more than one player or would you prefer separate games for all of us?

Haha, I actually first made Kier in a fantasy world. One that was a lot like Scotland and England though, hahaha. But I'm pretty confident that he can work in any setting that doesn't have a lore on fairies that conflicts with my own
But I'm up for anything! Your viking-elf sounds interesting. If you're up to resurrecting him I'm sure he'd be loads of fun. Only thing is that Kier tends to get along much worse with his fellow fantastical creatures than he does with human beings, but that doesn't mean he'll -never- get along, and hey, disagreements and conflicts are fun, right? I'd be glad to get them acquainted no matter how much of a jerk Kier is about the elf thing

Depends on what the others would like! I'm always up for 1-1 games any time, but I do like the thought of
a group thing. They could be working together or against each other. We could invent a target/goal or someone could play them. Yessss, I think that would be great!

Aaah, okay! WELL! I'm going to resurrect my viking-elf either way, because I've come to regret deleting him, but I won't hurry and will do that some other time when I can do it properly. Warren it is for now, then. And I agree, it is a terrible amount of fun to play conflicting things!
So what do we think? Will we make it a group thing or separate things?
I would be very happy with a group setting
Group thing would be fun.
I'm happy to try out a group thing! (Though I don't know how well Kier will agree with me, the big grump ) Everyone's characters look fun!
