Chyo Millers is rarely seen in public.
The paranormal obsessed freak surrounds themselves with an unhealthy amount of rotary phones, spiritual items, cords, wires, and a treasured 8-ball of theirs. It’s rumored in the high school they attend that they’re trying to summon a demon. Create a real-life Frankenstein - raise the dead. That’s what people believe, anyway. And frankly, they aren’t exactly wrong.
Chyo, for the longest time, as long as most people can remember has been a secluded person, cut off from the world, only really being found outside of their room to attend high school classes..which they’re failing. They refuse to talk to most people if it can be avoided, and oftentimes appears frail and skinny, like they’ve been plagued with insomnia, or forgetting to eat. Or maybe both. But this odd obsession with the paranormal…well, it’s been getting out of hand.
Maybe it’s a classmate, relative, neighbor, concerned friend…but whoever it is, decides to put an end to this. Well, they should, at least.

I tend to write in 3-5 paragraphs, but I’m cool with anything longer/shorter, as long as it’s descriptive and not just a one liner!

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Industrial revolution
Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
Romance is required, but may take some time to develop. For example: slow burn RPs.
