Hey y'all! I figured it'd be nice to come and reintroduce myself to this site, put myself out there a little bit again. I've been on this site for a while now, but for the past 3 or 4 years, I've been far too busy and life has honestly taken its toll on me. But I'm trying to get back into writing! I haven't written a single thing or roleplayed anything in those years and I cannot explain how much I miss it.
I miss creating the characters and bringing them to life, telling compelling stories that have even me waiting for a response and responding almost instantly. I remember roleplaying back then and I'm really trying to get back into it. And hell, maybe with this start, I'll finally be able to get back to my old hobbies that I dropped in the midst of all the chaos.
I think its time for me to find myself again, and this would be the perfect way to jump start that. So Hello, RPR! I've missed this site and the community. I've had nothing but good experiences here on this site and I hope that that continues. And how I missed my characters, my babies!
Anyways, my name is Ace! Or, formerly known as Abbey. I can go by either or, Abbey is the name i was given and Ace is the name I chose! I use she/they pronouns! I mostly roleplay romance, fantasty, action, horror/thriller, psychological stories. I really like to capture my audience, especially when it comes to the horror and gore parts of stories, which I almost always try to include in some shape or form. I can get descriptive, so I'll put that out there to anyone who has a light stomach.
I love to create backstory, and I always make my characters so that they will fit almost any setting. I prefer medieval based situations, where many of my characters are inspired by. But some of them can be worked into more modern settings. When it comes to history, I don't know much. All my history is fantastical.
I roleplay longterm, I don't do short term stories, I never know where to stop. So I'm looking to roleplay with people who are going to want to stick around for a real long story, something that can usually be kept being built. I love to communicate on new scenes and scenarios for our characters through out the roleplay. I like the idea of an ongoing story, a never ending story, so to say. While those are virtually impossible in real life, on here, I want to create a space where me and partner(s) can escape to. I like to put a little bit of myself in everything I write.

I'm really bad about seeing usernames though and just calling people by those because I get really easily forgetful. So, it may happen if we cross paths and for that, I apologize ahead of time!Anyhoo, welcome back to RPR! It's the same ol' happy place you left behind, so no worries on that front. And I know what you mean by when you really get into a role-play and the first thing you do is send your post and then you eagerly wait for a reply to send yet another post. The anxiety is something I have felt a good several times before. It's a good anxiety, but maybe the other writer may want a break. Hah hah...
