She nodded. "My namd is Holly . I'm guessing you will need a place to stay, especially at a time like this"
"Thank you, Holly," he smiled softy at her and slowly, painfully stood up.
"A-and yeah... I could use a place to stay... Are there any hotels?" he asked
"A-and yeah... I could use a place to stay... Are there any hotels?" he asked
"I don't think many hotels would be open at this time" she replied. Holly thought for a while before speaking. "Do you want to stay at my place? "
"I thought hotels were open for twenty four hours..." he frowned thoughtfully then blushed. "W-what? W-we just met and you'd let me stay at your house... That's... Very kind of you, but are you sure you're okay with that?"
"Well it doesn't look like there was any other places for you to go to. Its not exactly the best time to be walkkng around. And yes, I will be fine"
"O-okay..." he blushed and looked at his ornithopter with a disappointed frown, "Stupid machine..." he looked back at Holly, "S-so... Where do you live?"
"Its right here" Holly pointed to the door behind her. "Just try to keep as quiet as you can, my siblings are sleeping inside"
"Oh... Um... Alright," he nodded and tossed his aviator goggles towards his wrecked ornithopter. His face was covered in ash except the clean raccoon-rings because of the goggles.
She opened the door and entered. She held the door open for him to enter as well.
He shyly and quietly entered the home. "So... Where may I sleep?"
She nodded to a couch inside. It was long enough for someone to sleep in.
"Thank you... W-what about your parents...? How will they feel about this?"
She paused before she spoke. "I don't have any parents left"
He blushed intensely and looked away, "O-oh... I'm sorry..."
"No need to apologise. But yeah, I've been surviving along with my half-siblings." She responded. Holly has gotten used to the fact that her parents were dead.
"Well..." he looked around and tugged on the collar of his shirt. "D-do you have a blanket I could use...?"
"Yeah" she walked to a blanket that was quite long and gave it to Archur.
"Thanks..." he smiled and sat down on the sofa, "I really appreciate your kindness."
She nodded and smiled. "I will be in the next room if you need me". Holly left to the nearest door.
Holly entered her room and closed the door. She took her boots and clothes off, and then went into her bed. Before she started to sleep, she lay awake for just a few minutes to think. She had never seen anything like that vehicle or whatever that was. And who was that pilot? Where did he come from? She decided to ask him the next morning just as she drifted off to sleep.
