She nodded. "I will be right back" she said before going to another room.
He stood and waited patiently by the door for her to return.
Holly walked into the next room. Her siblings, a boy and girl, were sleeping in their beds. She whispered that she was just going out for a bit in their ears before walking into her room. She put on the clothes she had on last night. Her long black hair looked fine even when she didn't brush it. She stepped out to Archur, ready to go.
He smiled warmly at her and held the door open for her then followed her out.
By now, a couple people had come to see the smoldering wreckage of Archur's ornithopter and there was a policeman examining the scene.
"Um... Let's go the other way," he said and ushered Holly the opposite direction.

"Yeah, thats a good idea" she followed the direction she was ushered to. Holly had many encounters with policemen and she prefers not being near them. Eventually they reach a bridge.
Archur stepped to the rail of the bridge and looked over the side.
Down there was a body which looked like it had been there for a while. "That was there last week" Holly commented. "Some people said that he fell from up here"
His eyes went wide and he backed away, "W-why didn't anyone get the body?"
"Because its too hard to get apparently." she replied " That's what people said. I don't think its that though"
He stood back and looked at her, "Why do you think?"
"Because one time when I looked at him I saw a rat" she explained. "They are all over the place at night, which is why that's when the best time to stay inside". None of this information was officially given out, all of this is stuff that she found out for herself.
"Rats? Why doesn't someone take care of them then? Get rid of em?" he asked. Back in America, he hasn't even seen a rat. He'd seen plenty of mice in the wintertime when the invaded homes for warmth, but never rats.
"Because its too hard, people in charge hope that this will all go away. They didn't even tell us that there were even rats here." She replied. "Rats are spreading very fast, I wonder how long before the government even tells us about them"
"Well... I'm sorry to hear it," he said with a slight frown, "Come on... Let's keep going."
She nodded walking away from the railing. "So I'm guessing that all this is completely different to what's in America?" Holly didn't know much about America but she has a feeling that she would like to go there some time. Anywhere is better than here.
"Yeah... A lot different..." he said quietly and shoved his hands in his pockets, "Thanks again for lettin me stay with you for the night."
"It's the least I can do for a decent human being" she replied. "Its not safe here as it is in America. What is it like being there?"
"Well, I live in a smaller, suburban town," he smiled and shrugged, "The air is clean and the weather is usually nice. I live in Colorado, which is in the mid-west."
"I wish I could be there" she said. "That place seems the exact opposite of here" Holly didn't like her town. It was dark most of the time, it was cold and she never feels happy.
"I might be able to take you," he offered, "But you have to stay with your siblings," he sighed, "And my family couldn't and wouldn't pay for all of you."
