Deep into space there were multiple planets never discovered by man, or beast. Of these planets, one of them had human-like beings. That's where the centre of the expanse was believed to be, not only because they had advanced technologies but because they were a force to be reckoned with.

Over the years, humans became aware of these planets and decided to take them over. It would have worked if not for the planets vast knowledge of human's weaknesses, and their technology. The planet took human hostages and planted them in their society, creating new races. Few humans survived through the centuries, but most of the ones who did became part of the planet's military.

A ship sailed through the vast emptiness of space, searching for something that appeared not to be there. The ship was an average assault and landing ship with four thrusters and a fully operational hangar for small planes and military vehicles. Inside the ship was a crew of no more than twenty, plus fifty military personnel. They were headed towards one of the more hostile empires in the expanse, having gotten news that they had captured some of their peace troops.

"All military personnel report to the hangar for briefing, we have located Aaron. I repeat, All military personnel report to the hangar for briefing, we have located Aaron." A voice rang over the intercom in the ship, summoning all military personnel. Of the military on the ship, there were only three woman. One was a mere private, the other was a corporal, and the third was a first sergeant.

Once everybody had reported to the hangar, a man went up to the small platform. The man, Captain Hughs as his nametag proclaimed, told them that they were there for a rescue mission. They were authorised to only collect members of the UNJ, United Nations of Juniver, and under no circumstance were to bring other beings back. Everybody listened intently, except for one of the female officers leaning against the wall in the back. Her nameplate read Monroe, no first name on the tag. She glanced up from the floor to ask a question, one that baffled everyone.

"If we are authorized to only collect members of UNJ, then what are we supposed to do with the other innocent prisoners there?" She asked, making her way up to the front of the crowd. Her leg creaked with every step, having been a while since it last got oiled. "I mean, there could be other humans there that are innocent." Monroe argued, earning her a glare from the captain.

"Under no circumstance, are you to bring any other personal back except ones from UNJ. Are we clear, First Sergeant?"

"Loud." She responded without emotion, turning around and heading back towards her designated room.

Hours later, they reached the Empire of Aaron. As quietly as lightning, they parachuted out of the carrier and into the skies of Aaron. They had jumped right over where Aaronieans kept their prisoners, aimed towards the roof of the building. Few men had snipers and others had a laser pistol. Monroe had both, and a couple knives strapped to her thighs. They landed on the roof without a sound, positive that only the inmates had seen them. "Lets go." Monroe whispered to her squad, kicking open the door on the roof leading inside.

One of these prison cells was completely unlit. The darkness hid an inanimate automaton, much like a robot, completely inorganic. Perhaps the prison guards thought that the light didn't need to be wasted on keeping the look out on a simple object. Or maybe the automaton was undeserving of light, for the act that it had committed. That was shadowed in mystery now.

Advunturion had deactivated himself to release him of the boredom which so ached him. With his past experiences giving him some sort of hope, he felt that his release was an inevitability. It was the only thing he looked forward to as he rusted away. His slumber made him unaware of what was taking place just a few meters beyond his cell. He ignorantly awaited his freedom

Monroe's squad silently raided the hallways, dispatching all guards that stood in their way. Not a single alarm went off as they released all the human prisoners, sending them ahead to the ship. The continued to release their companions until not a single human remained in the disgusting prison, at least the pure human ones.

Climbing the large quantity of steps again, passing another cell every dozen, Monroe saw a single unlighted cell. The cell held something reflective, the lights from the corridor reflecting off the object. Looking around to make sure no other officers were around, she kicked open the door and stormed in, a pistol held in both hands. "Who's here?" She commanded, most of the light from the hallway silhouetting her figure to the object. Little light fell upon it, just enough to define it as a 'robot'.

As Advunturion's audio receptors managed to catch the sound of a voice, his body flickered to life. It was different to the familiar drab that he had heard during his time as a captive. If it was those same guards, Advunturion probably would not have responded, but he could tell, that with this new arrival, perhaps his freedom was at stake.

Advunturion crept closer to the silhouette. The words the figure spoke were similar to those that captured him, so he was quite able to translate them properly, hopefully without any errors. "I am Advunturion. That is all I need state, now that I am a prisoner." His voice was sharp as the simulated voice came through his audio emitter. He was now close enough to be in full view, but his stature still kept a still posture, like a statue's. "For what reason do you enter my dark cell..?"

Monroe cocked an eyebrow at the sharp remark from Advunturion, the idea of an automaton being capable of more than a few emotions was almost funny in this situation. Collecting herself, she stepped to the side and put a single pistol away, keeping the other in her hand for protection.

"Your sentence has been shortened, by allot." Monroe simply said, waving her free hand into the hallway. She was hoping that Advunturion would catch on and walk out of the cell, not wanting to forcefully push the automaton out. She was already in enough trouble now, she didn't need to be late as well.

Any chance of freedom was savored by Advunturion, but there was probably some sort of agreement that he would no doubt have to come to accept to. There always was when it came to being saved by a military force. He followed on, surveying the open cells, as well as speculating what battle led to this freedom.

He reset his scanners, trying to pinpoint where he actually was, but being deactivated for all that time, he was unable to record the travels he had as a prisoner. He knew then, that he was technically lost.

Monroe ran up the steps, hopping over fallen guards. "You might want to hurry." She said, looking over her shoulder at the automaton following her up. Her pistol was cocked just in case some guards survive the first wave of soldiers, her head turning from side to side at each hallway.

It was common knowledge in the military that her great grandfather was one of the first humans to survive the breeding process, his DNA altered just a bit to provide him more physical and mental abilities. Monroe had inherited some of his traits, not knowing exactly how many she actually had in her blood already.

Advunturion picked up his pace as he walked through the corridor of dead guards. He did not speak, thinking his action spoke louder than any word.

Just because Advunturion was unharmed, this did not make him any less dangerous. His armoured body was difficult to penetrate, and his sharp digits were normally used by him to scrape powerful enemy armour, as well as serving as good substitutes when his sabre was missing, which was now.
