Gloomy clouds loomed over the quiet outskirts of the city. On this melancholic, Sunday morning, most people would be out at a coffee shop, drinking an aesthetically pleasing latte, and reading a cheesy romance book. However, Ophelia Hartley is not considered most people. She loved this kind of weather, especially considering she was a vampire, a race notorious for burning in the sunlight. However, she couldn’t shake the feeling of anxiety, due to the fact that a new roommate was arriving to what she considered her sacred space today.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
