It was either my Legend of Zelda based fairy OC or my Kingdom Hearts OC from Gaia Online, or my Naruto OC amongst my friends. Aside from the Naruto one (a genin from the Waterfall village that had the Nekomata demon before the canon was brought up in the manga, iirc... or I just didn't know about her until after, lol.) I don't actually remember much about my old OCs since I never kept the profiles. I'm kind of sad about that.

I made him when i was in my early teens and got more serious about rping, and actually making proper ocs. He was the one that stuck first. So when i returned i added him back!(Cause i just can't not have him around haha) He has barely at all changed in the 10+ years he has existed haha Only slight adjustments to his backstory.

I don't remember their name, but they were basically an angelic fox with light powers and wings. I didn't have any combat ability for them because I didn't expect needing any... Uh, whoops.

I was also 13 and this was on Furcadia so... Yeah, I learned to give future characters combat utility.

I can't believe how long ago that was, haha.

My first was Aquila, when I was 11. Still going! ^-^

I had a character named Maki, she could produce fire, and mostly used it in the same way Shinra uses it in fire force

I was much worse at this, but if I make her again, It'll make a lot more sense!

My first RP character wasn't exactly SFW. As interesting as the character is, I don't think this the right place for me to talk about her.

My first character was a self-insert Pokemon universe OC. She was super powerful, had never lost a single battle and had beaten the Elite 4 multiple times

Here he is. My very first OC. Not only that, he comes with an entire lore.

Yuuki Terumi is a literal God of destruction and is rivals with Ragna in my verse.

My first roleplay character was Narisi. She started out as a little bit of a fan-inspired OC that was an Aes Sedai. Through time, her story changed a lot to the point where nothing fanbased was in it anymore. Even now, 13 years later, I still portray her and she is still one of my mains. She currently doesn't have her profile here as it's being worked on, but it will soon return!

I created my first RP character as a nerdy kid. It was a feral dragon based on The Legend of Spyro triology. She was a dragoness, originally her elements were shadows and fire, except I would powerplay and godmod. Everytime she would encounter an enemy stronger than her, she would suddenly discover some OP "hidden secret powers" to make sure she won't lose any battles

She looked like most ~2012 "DeviantART dark emo wolf OCz", except she was a dragon. Dark scales, light, puffy, emo hair covering her eyes. And of course she had the infamous "half-devil, half-angel" wings.

I could go on, but I rather not. After that, I never touched her again and it was probably another year before I tried rping again.

I was just thinking of making a thread on this exact topic before I saw this one. Uncanny.

The earliest one I remember was way back when I was a wee-babe Lyndis trolling around RP chatrooms. A spunky half-demon thief character named Ryo, with long braided hair being her only consistent physical characteristic. Possibly inspired by too many YuYu Hakusho reruns. Ryo didn't have a story of her own, but was adventurous enough to plug into almost any fantasy group RP. Sometimes a friend, sometimes a foe, equally as prone to leaving her companion's pockets empty as she was in stealing from the enemy.

My first character was I played was Alethia. So is so strange was I meet with her.
I was meet her in my dreams when in this period in which I was follow Road Rovers cartoon.

My first RP character was made for DC Comics and Batman. Her name is Mei Lin aka “Black Cat” and she was Catwoman’s sidekick haha. I even included a storyline where she’s actually Deathstroke’s daughter that he doesn’t know about and she goes on adventures with Damian Wayne and the rest of the Batfam. I know it’s cringy but I was a kid! 😂

From what I can best remember, my memory being pretty terrible for my early years, my first character when I was maybe 13~14 was Adelagda (I cannot remember the spelling, this a phonetic approximation), a young woman in her early twenties who kind of encapsulated all the fear and worry I had at that age. She was quiet and reclusive with simple wants and had many extroverted friends to put her in wild situations in a story I was writing. Then when I was 15~16 she got a counterpart who was stronger, tougher, more self-assured named Celina who eventually developed into a new woman, still named Celina, who is a Steampunk mechanic specializing in automatous creatures and prosthetic limbs. New Celina's color palette has carried over into another character too, Delphine "Scars" Brasseux. I seem to like giving my tough, motherly "older" women (mid 30s is not technically old but is older than young adult and thus) light grey or white short hair and red eyes.

Boy does this bring back memories...

It's hard to say when my very first RP character was. Back in Grade School, I'd build entire worlds and games with my Lego characters and sets, before I had a concept of what RP was. Then we ended up getting home internet with that old dial up AOL (you probably know the sound) and I found an entire world of hobby enthusiasts. I didn't end up doing the Red Dragon Inn but I was a Star Wars Simmer (we called it simming then, not RPing). Basically was part of a 'fleet' where we had battles and the like. If anyone else used to do that, and remembers a guy with a character named Thraw,n who was basically a good version of the guy, then I might have RP'd with you back when (no, I wasn't Thrawn).

I gradually discovered RPG's, such as Secret of Evermore, Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9, and the like.

My first tabletop RPG was Dungeons and Dragons back when 3rd edition was first coming out. The group I was in still played 2nd (or D&D Advanced, THAC0 anyone?). I had a Halfling Rogue but the party wasn't very cooperative and I ended up hanging out with the mage played by the DM's girlfriend most the time while the others were always off doing their own thing.

Cut to 3rd edition though and my first edgelord character was a Druid with a major chip on her shoulder. I found her old character sheet a while ago and holy moley was she built just... awful. But it didn't matter because I had fun with her. She adventured alongside a Paladin, a Sorcerer, a Barbarian, and a few other folks. We were all pretty new to pen and paper role-playing and learned as we went. Said edgelord Druid had a major superiority complex and was enthralled with her Wild Shape ability. Was always running around as an animal, causing trouble, punishing people for slights both real and perceived, and every other hallmark of a young, angsty teenager.

Oh lordy, my first character was an edgy feller named "Jayson Wolves". He had different names before I settled on that, but that is inevitably what I settled on. He was a 16-year-old runaway who lived in some caves in Moldova, had a homoerotic cannibalistic fixation on a deer guy (Jayson was a wolf eared feller lol), and wanted to overthrow a Goddess.

11-year-old me was absolutely cooking.

Oh lord. My first RP I actually made myself back in...2006ish?? He was an angsty Neko with black hair and baggy pants. He could dance on water and had a sort of symbiote type infection. While playing that char I met a friend I'm still friend with to this day. Cringy but good memories lol

I think my first ever character I actually RPed with was Vil. In the original concept, she was a Changeling warrior inspired HEAVILY by Viking and Norse media (I was obsessed with Vikings and not too long before that, the show Rome).

A few years (like 2 or 3) after her creation i turned her into a Skyrim character. I think even then, she was Dunmer raised by Nords? I have her in my drafts as of right now, i do plan on bringing her back because i love her so much and hold her so very close to my heart.

(I also made a short story about her and her husband back in like 2021 😭 had my then-teacher read it because i was so proud. I might include it on her page lol)
