EDIT 03/08-- added my Friend Code to the bottom of this post!

Heya RPR!
Do you have Pokemon X or Y? Yeah?
Well aren't you in luck!

I've recently (as of today) downloaded a free trial of Pokemon Bank & Pokemon Transporter--the former which is a massive storage for up to 3000 Pokemon per user, and the latter being the transfer method between Generations 4 & 5 to 6*.

*To get Gen 4 mons, you have to transfer them to a Gen 5 game. Then you can transfer them on to Gen 6.

Why's this significant? Because I now have quite a few Pokemons with Pokerus, the rare in-game phenomenon that permanently gives your Pokemon 2x Effort Value gain! I'm feeling crazy generous and want to spread around the ultra good infection to fellow fans!

So that said, if you have Pokemon X or Y and want a Pokerus'd 'mon, leave a reply here or send me a PM so we can swap friend codes! And if you want a specific 'mon, be it for the Pokedex or a team in the making, feel free to let me know that too--I can't make promises there, but I can do my best to find, infect, and send over whatever you'd like! My own game is X, so keep that in mind if you desire a version-specific! I'll take any ol' thing in return, too, so you don't have to fret over finding the perfect trading Pokemon to give me! <3

Here's my code, too! 5112-4453-8534
Super Training is the new EV trainer - pokerus still works as it always has, and I think there are still the power training items like the macho brace and all that, but it has effectively been superceded. There is still the uber prestige factor of having an infected, poke, though. I've only had like... One occurance of legit pokerus and I have played everything but crystal.

In case anyone is wondering, it takes 4 EVs to translate into 1 point of a stat at lvl100 (I think that's how it goes, its been a while), and the maximum amount of EVs you can have is 255; however, since 252 is the last time you get a stat boost, its best not to train it all the way. Super Training in Gen 6 games only takes it to 252, I've tested it a few times to confirm this.

I am tempted to get pokebank as I'm starting to get back into X hardcore again soon. Before I reset my game out of boredom, I had 5/6iv pokes coming out of my ears.

Before I forget: I don't think pokerus affects super training, but you might double check with serebii or bulbapedia to confirm.

Edit: It just dawned on me how useful this could be if you can pokebank trade between generations. Also, I'm sorry if I came off in a NO THIS IS HOW WE DO IT NOW tone, I didn't mean it like that. Jump on this people, pokerus happens seldom if ever in gens 1-5.

Haha! Well, Super Training certainly makes EV training easier, but I say every little bit helps! <3 No big deal, dude, you're giving the excellent low-down on how the mechanics work! I was just offering up the 'rus since I've got it and I know how rare it can be to get it. The only reason I have it was due to a chance GTS trade way back during Diamond!

Oh, and yes! They lowered the number of EVs it goes to (252 instead of 255) to save those 3 that otherwise got wasted.

Edit: It just occurred to me, adding all these friend codes will help with the friend safari (a post-game safari zone based on your registered codes)--by all means, I encourage y'all to get to know each other and share your codes! My safari doesn't need to be the only one suddenly expanding due to this! XD
1478-4307-0574 if anyone is interested. Its either psychic or flying, I think psychic. Its been a while. Does pokebank let you trade with Gen 4 to 6 or is it just a tool to export pokes to Gen 6 (x/y, inevitably z)?

Totes McGotes going to friend you in a sec! :D *makes a note to add her FC to the opening post in a few*

PokeBank lets you hold up to 3000 Pokemon on an online server, but its companion app, Pokemon Transporter (which you can only get if you buy PokeBank) is how you export Pokemon from gens IV & V to Gen VI. There's no trading back, unfortunately! :C

Edit: I just remembered--you have to transfer your 'mons from Gen IV(4) to Gen V(5) before you can transfer them on to Gen V(6). So you go from Heart Gold/Soul Silver/Diamond/Pearl/Platinum to Black(2)/White(2), then from Black(2)/White(2) to X or Y. Whew. It's a lot of tedious work but worth it if you want the Pokemon that just straight up don't exist in any form in X & Y.

Serebii has a list of which Pokemon aren't included and must be traded for on the GTS or transfered from an older game.
