"What else is there? Get shoved down in the halls?" He looked away from her, "that's nothing new" he said.Jackie wasent the only bully in the school, she may be the worst female, but she wasent the only one.Destery knew why some people didn't mess with him though..

Opal looked down, "I'm saying it's not like she did it once..." Opal said, she looked up again at Destery. "Well thank you for helping me, it was nice meeting you!" Opal bowed her head, "see you later.." Opal paused, she didn't know what to say, she didn't know his name.

Destery shrugged life more, then looked back at her, "don't mention it" he said."It was nice meeting you to Opal" he said.He ones her name from the popular girls."Oh!, and my names Destery.."

Opal smiled, "nice to meet you Destery" Opal said bowing her head and giving him a quick courtesy. "Well, I got to go..." Opal said, turning her head towards the exit. "I can't keep of my ride waiting, but once again it was nice meeting you and I hope maybe we can get to know each other a little more if we bump into each other again!" Opal turned around and ran off, waving her hand in the air goodbye. "Bye!" She said, her farewell echoed through the hall.

Destery watched as she walked away.He lifted up a hand and waved her goodbye.Maybe they would feet tommrrow, afterall, tomorrow was Friday.

Opal turned her head and ran off to the exit of the building, the main door that everyone came through that was the front door. I have a lot of stuff on my plate once I get home... Opal thought as she ran out the door and zoomed down the front steps. Once outside she could see her friend's and her farther in the drivers seat. "Opal, what took you so long?!" Her friends smiled c and waved, Opal ran over to the back aear opening v the door and taking a seat inside. "Sorry" she said closing the door.

Destery watched her run away, before looking away, and shaking his head slightly. He started off down the halls himself, and pulled his hood up before going outside.

As Opal took her seat and put on her seat belt, her mother stared back at her from the drivers seat, starting the car about to drive off. "How was your day?" Her mother said shifting the car in gear, moving her eyes onto the road. "Good..." Opal answered, "good" her mother said driving her car off.

Destery walked out of the school, his hood over his head, and his hands in his pockets.He walked down the front steps, and across the parking lot, onto a sidewalk, and started off towards home.He preferred to walk, then his mom come get him..

"Anything awesome happen today?" Asked one of Opal's friend's, Opal turned her head at to the front passenger seat. Her friend had long and messy brown hair, tied into an unkempt ponytail, as well as large golden-colored eyes. Her clothing consists of a sleeved black-and-white dress with diamond patterns. Over it, she wears a sleeveless black turtleneck, as well as long, black arm warmers. She dons a green belt over the top part of her left arm warmer, with two others on her right, each with a silver buckle and a single prong that is secured. Around her waist, she wears two others that are identical: one is wrapped firmly around her waist, while the other is positioned a little higher, and overlaps the former. Over her left breast, there is a white pin with green lines, resembling a cloud. Sometimes, she does not wear it.Under her dress, She wore a lime-colored pantyhose, with the right sleeve having a set of white rings patterned alone the side. She finishes her outfit with ragged, high-heeled brown boots with yellow string. She had a slender body and a athletic body. Her friend went by the name Maddy, Opal's tomboy friend. Opal looked up and them she looked down, "a noy helped me pick up my things of the floor, nothing exciting really.." Opal answered.

Destery made his way down the sidewalk, in silence, and with slow pace.He was thoughtful as he walked.Looking down at his shadows, Thinking about the day he had just had, and about to morrows possibilities.

One of Opal's friend's jumped once she heard the word "boy" she quickly turned her head to Opal eagerly. "A boy really!?" Her friend asked, "what kind of boy?!" Her friend smiled, jumping up and down from her seat happily. Opal turned her head to the girl and studded, her friend had long wavy light pink hair, the top portion of her hair was pulled into a high bun as the rest is loose, she has straight bangs. She wore a butterfly clip on her hair. She looked to be very feminine. Her clothing consisted of purple and black color combinations. She went by the name Chole. Chole was Opal's girly, most happiest best friend, the total opposite of Maddy. Opal turned her head to the window, to stare out at the sidewalk. "What was he like...?" Opal repeated the question, trying to think.

Destery thought.He looked to his right slightly, seeing the park.He decided to enter the park.He could work on homework there, then go home.He walked into the park ignoring the stares and glares of people, and ignoring his growling stomach."Emo!' One teenage boy yelled at him.

Opal continued to stare out the window, watching the students who had to walk home pass by. "There's not much to say all j can tell you is he's nice..." Opal answered, Chole frowned at Opal with a disappointed look on her face. "Aw... that's it?" Chole questioned, Maddy moaned at Chole and rolled her eyes. "What do you want her to do Chole, describe the guy head to toe?" Opal couldn't even remember what he was wearing since she really wasn't even paying attention to that at all. Chole sighed, wanting to know more, she was a real sucker for this stuff. Meanwhile, Opal continued to stare out the window, passing the library, the stores, and the nearby park,hearing some kid shout out "emo."

Destery continued on his way, ignoring the insult.He wasent Emo.It was stupid how just because somebody's pale, and have almost black hair, people automatically think 'oh my gosh, that guys emo!' , but that was not the case.Destery walked further, and further into the park, ignoring everyone who insulted him.

Maddy rolled her eyes, "I swear, how old are these kids?" Maddy questioned, "I know right, like who does that anymore?" Chole nodded her head in agreement, Opal didn't chime into the conversation, honestly, it didn't bother her very much nor did she even care. Opal continued to stare out the window listening to her friends, while they finally reached their destination.

Destery walked to the far end of the park, and laid his book bag down, and sat down against a tree in the shade.He took his cellphone out of his book bag, and turned it on, and texted his mom telling her he'd be home late, before putting his phone to sleep, ad putting it back in his boom bag, before taking out his homework to work on.

After minutes of driving the Opal's mother had finally arrived to their destination, the family Bakery where Opal and her friend's usually helped out and worked ti make some extra money. Opal and her friend's opened the side doors, stepping outside the car. The three grabbed their bags and closed the car doors and headed into Opal's family bakery. Opal's mother locked the car once she grabbed her bag and closed the car door with the drivers seat as well. "Any work we meed to do?" Maddy asked standing by the door, Opal's walked up to the door and stared at Maddy and said, "not much" and walked inside, along with the three girls
