Opal's eyes widened slightly surprised of what he said, "don't say that!"

Destery grew silent.He knew what he could end up doing sometimes.He could kill people, he could drain them of all their blood, he could do a lot of bad things..

"Why would someone so kind want to kill someone or think of doing such a thing?" Opal asked, but she didn't know all the things Destery could do to someone, sense he was a ordinary human ti her eyes

Destery avoided eye contact.She was better off not knowing, everyone was better off not knowing. He was already called a freak, and nobody even knew his secret.Not even his mom. She didn't know about him being a vampire, or bi-polar."Forget I said anything.."

Opal tilted her head, "why... why are you saying all this horrible things?" Opal asked,he was so nice before, why is he trying to make himself sound like the bad guy? Opal wondered, it scared her and made her curious at the same time. Could he actually kill someone, it couldn't be true, did he want to scare her off or something.

Destery painfully sat up, still looking down."I'm going to go now.." he said, and got up and walked out of the room.If same tried to follow, he'd already be gone, despite his injuries.

Opal got up from her seat to follow, "wait... where are you going you're still injured!" Opal said running out of the nurses office, where the nurse was still on the phone trying to contact someone. Once out in the hallway Opal stared around up and down in the hall, in search of Destery, but he was no where to be seen,maybe I shouldn't of been so nosy... Opal thought. Opal turned to go back to the nurse until she heard someone call her name. "Opal, I heard what happened, hey Opal are you alright?" Opal turned her head to see where the voices were coming from.

Destery had ran off away from the nurses offices, he didn't want anyone knowing anything.But he had to stop running, and held his stomach.He didn't heal as fast as other vampires sadly, so it still hurt.He walked down the halls.

Opal returned her head and stared in the direction of the voices calling out to her with a surprised look, "Maddy... Chole, what are you doing here?" Opal asked staring at her friend's, Chole and Maddy stood a few feet from Opal and ran over to Opal with worried looks on their faces. "Joe told Casey, told Fiona, Fiona told Charles and Charles told Billy, and Billy told Phillip and Phillip told me that you and some other kid were in the nurses office because of Jackie!" Chole shouted quickly, breathing heavily after saying the long list of names. "Then, Chole texed me during class, so we got passes from our teachers to see you..." Maddy said.

Destery stumbled down the hallway.He was headed towards the door, he was going to try skipping school for now.

Opal turned to her friend's and shook her head "guys I'm fine.." Opal said calmly, "I'm more worried about the other student, he ran off and he's hurt..." Opal said. Maddy crossed her arm's "the nurse will" take care of him so lets just get back to class and not worry abou-" Opal interrupted, "but he ran off and I can't find him..." Opal loomed down "I can't just leave him..." Opal said softly, "he helped me..." Maddy stared at Opal and put her hands on Opal's shoulders and smiled. "We'll help find him..." Maddy said sympathetically, Chole stood behind the two and nodded in agreement. Opal looked up and smiled, "thank you..." she said, Opal quickly turned and ran to find Destery along with Chole and Maddy.

Destery walked out the school doors, and paused on the porch, and pulled his hood back over his head, and put his hands in the pocket of his hoodie, before he slowly started down the steps.

Once Destery was outside he would see a shady of four other student's standing out on the sidewalk and come out in front of him. "Hey Dusty!" Said a girl come up from behind the group kids, it was obvious to say it was Jackie. Jackie cracked her neck and knuckles and smiled at Destery deviously, "you just made my hit list you little shit..." Jackie mumbled. She was looking for revenge which was obvious and she intended to gang up on him in doing so.

Meanwhile...

"Hey Opal what does this guy look like?" Chole asked, since she had no idea who the guy looked liked. Opal turned her head and gave a quick description of him.

Destery looked up at the little group.Just, My, freaking, luck he thought.He didn't feel like going through this again, and he tried to run.

Once Destery began to run Jackie shouted and pointed, "block him off and don't let him get away!" Jackie commanded, after the little order she gave. Two student's ran off to find a blocked point while Jackie and two other kids chased after Destery and full speed.

Destery ran at full speed, until he felt the sharp pain in his stomach that was still bothering him, and he stumbled, then fell.I seriously wonder if she damaged something in there he wondered, holding his stomach with one sleeve covered hand, and rushing himself up with his other.He didn't need to be hurt again, even if he healed faster then humans.

Jackie and her group continued to chase after him until her stumbled and fell, why is it any time someone is running they always fall and get up at the last minute?! Once Jackie was lose she grabbed him when he still down when he was still down but her hands slipped once he quickly got back up.

Destery threw up a little bit of blood on the grass, but that didn't stop him from trying to escape Jackie.Well, it wasent like he needed his own blood, but he wasent sure if that was his lunch he just lost, or the blood he was born with, oh who cared..

Jackie and the group continued to chase after Destery until they came to they came around the first corner down the street. Once at the first cross walk around the corner, two kids were standing by the corner that tackled Destery once he came close.

Destery ran, attempting escape, until he was tackeled by two students.
