The stranger turned his head at Drsyery and began to pull on Destery away again until three girls ran from around the corner. Around the corner here stood, Opal,Maddy and Chole, Opal was the first to come to a stop and notice Destery.

Destery hung on to what he was clinging to, not going anywhere, not going to a hospital.He hated hospitals, so, much, temptation lied there.

"Destery!" Opal shouted runninng around the corner and in his direction, couching in front of him. "What happened, you're totally beaten and bruised all over!" Opal frowned , worry, "why'd you leave school grounds moron!?" Maddy questioned, crossing her arms, "Maddy.."

Destery looked down, when she asked what happened he questioned "what do you think happened? That popular bitch.." he said.He went quiet when he was called a moron..

Opal stared and Destery and then stared down when he started to be a smart mouth about what happened. "Why do you say horrible things?" Opal asked

Destery looked up at her and shrugged. "Cause that's what she is.."

Opal clenched her fists as she rested them on her lap "that doesn't excuse from saying such cruel words.." Opal muttered.

Destery looked back down, "sorry.." he said. He held such innocence when he knew he's done/said something bad.

Opal continued to look down her face had the expression like she was about to cry, while Maddy stepped up "you ran away from the school like a wuss and we were kind enough to help me our and all you can say is sorry?!" Maddy asked

Destery looked at Maddy, knowing what he was supposed to say, "Thanks, for coming for me," he said and looked down again, "all of you.."

Maddy clenched her fists and marched up to Destery, like sorry wasn't enough. "You gotta be kidding me, were probably gonna get suspended because of you!" Madddy shouted, "it's not his fault.." Opal spoke up.

Destery looked down, looking guilty.Though he looked at Opal when she spoke up.

""It's my fault this happened and was my idea to leave school grounds anyways, so I should be tge one apologizing and getting yelled at.

Destery looked away from her. Technically feeling it was his own fault they would probably be in deep trouble for leaving school grounds, but then again, they could've just left him alone.

"Maybe if we sneak back into the school, we won't get that as a punishment for leaving school." Chole suggested, it was a thought and I sort of a good idea, but in Destery's condition it might be some what difficult.

"You guys can" Destery said afterword. It seemed he wasent going back for the day- and it wasent like the could force him.

Opal looked up at Destery, she was concerned for him, they couldn't just leave him here. "What about you, we can't just leave you here" Opal pointed out, Maddy crossed her arm's in agreement, "she's right" Maddy said.

Destery stood up, and looked at them, seriousness in his eyes."I'm going home" he said."That's where I was going.....originally."

Opal quickly stood up and grabbed his hand, shaking her head. "You can't go home with those injuries, it's not a smartest place to go" Opal said.

Destery looked at her, "I'm not staying here" he said.
