We encourage players to read all rules and details to the group before applying your character, as there is often mistakes of people attempting to apply with female characters or animal/non-human characters. This is an all-boy's victorian college. Animals, female characters, non-human characters, time-travelers, super-powered characters, and the such are not allowed. Just college boys from the victorian era.
We also encourage players to have knowledge at least a little of the victorian era, as technology from our times didn't exist then. I also want to note that this is victorian era England, the queen was Queen Victoria in this time.

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Industrial revolution
Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.
Some romance is possible, but the overall plot is more important.
