He didn't manage to do it, but the kobold only had one life point anyway. The stunned halfling looks at the dead kobold in amazement. "I did it," he mumbled aloud.

Olaf leads the party out of the room. The passage opens up and the party's advancement is blocked by a fast flowing subterranean river. There is a rundown bridge with mysterious writing or the party can ford the river. "Hmmm, should we try the bridge," the ogre muses examining the water.
The halfling looks at the rushing river and then at the bridge. "I don't like the look of either, "he declares.
"Don't worry, I will help you. You can come with me and Teddy," the Barbarian announces. Without warning, he scoops up Slappy and puts him up on his shoulder and wades into the water.

Both are wet, but they make it the other side without issue. Slappy holds the lantern high and keeps it from going out. "That wasn't so bad," he yells to the elf, cleric and goblin. He holds the light up so the rest of the group can see clearly.
Laralute studied the bridge runes. Since the halfling had had the light now, it was hard to read, but she had gotten a good enough look when he shined the light across it before the Barbarian helped him cross the river. The water was rushing, but she was a decent swimmer and decided to ford the river.

Rikka stares at the water. He cannot not swim and is too afraid. Instead, he takes his chances on the bridge. As he steps onto the bridge, it erupts into magical fire, burning him to death. He takes 2 damage from the trap and his charred corpse falls from the bridge into the water.
"Oh no," the priestess cries she makes a holy gesture.
"He should have tried the water like the rest of us," Laralute commented.
"I should have gone back and tried to get him," Olaf said. He covered Teddy's eyes when the bridge burst into flames.
"Oh dear," Slappy replied shaking his head sadly.
Dru lead a quick prayer on the banks at the edge of the river before the group continued on.
"Oh no," the priestess cries she makes a holy gesture.
"He should have tried the water like the rest of us," Laralute commented.
"I should have gone back and tried to get him," Olaf said. He covered Teddy's eyes when the bridge burst into flames.
"Oh dear," Slappy replied shaking his head sadly.

After a respectful pause for the fallen goblin, Olaf approached the next door and pushed it open. Inside is a huge zombie dragon! Olaf removed Teddy from his belt, set him down outside and drew his ax. "Wait here, Teddy. This could be dangerous," The barbarian said. He then charged at the dragon.
