((Yeah I am out of my league here X'D)

Ah, now this is too much. Multiple devastatingly rhyming burns, rhyming commentary not even actually part of the "rap battle", and haikus? The Mari Lwyd staggers under the weight, and it's not all just because it has had too much to drink before disembarking the galleon.

"Is this dragon a bard?
Though he's scaly, his rhymes go hard!
Pat your backs, you're in the clear
until Mari Lwyd returns next year!"

Defeated, the Mari Lwyd stagger/gallops off into the woods, going the way of the chickens before, and leaving behind the flaming wreckage of his flying galleon.

"WOOOO!! WE WIN AGAIN!!!" He shouts, jumps, and claps in victory, letting out laughs from the previous jokes and happiness at helping to win.

She claps for those who ryhmed "What happened before him?-:

"Am i allowed to have more than one marshmallow?" Na'aiyah asked, more interested in the snacks at the moment.

"Pirate fight." He explains casually to Company.

"Oh I missed the swords??-"

The Duchess watches as her ancient enemy, the party-punch stealing Mari Lwyd, is driven away with a smile of grim satisfaction. Though she is barred by magical law from confronting the theiving spirit herself, she is never sad to see her guests beat it roundly and save her booze. Or at least... what's LEFT of her booze after the cannon volleys tore apart the buffet tables. "Bravo, all! And welcome to our new guests."

To Na'aiyah, she nods, gesturing for a basket of marshmallows to be brought and presented to her. "Yes, of course. Please, eat your fill."

"Oh lovely, thank you." She smiled, grabbing three and stacking them all on the stick to roast them at the same time.

"Away with you! Now disappear!
Against me you held no candle!
And if next year I shan't be here,
Someone else will wear the mantle!"

The Scholar let out a triumphant trumpeting noise, puffing up and looking terribly self-important. He hoisted the cauldron to his mouth to drown the contents in a single draught. Victory chug!

Caelus applauded enthusiastically for the dragon's victory. He bowed deeply before the Duchess in response to her greeting, before looking to Company. "Unfortunately, as did I - but I imagine a friendly duel would rather be one of the least exciting things to occur tonight, if you'd please," he grinned, mostly joking. "Ah - oh dear." Having grown distracted, he pulled his now on-fire marshmallow from the wreckage, waving the stick to extinguish it. "Hmm. A little burnt."

Cris watched her baby girl munch on the marshmallow before turning to glance over her shoulder at the retreating Mari Lwyd and waving her hand in a jest "bye-bye".
"Defeat gallops on,
Loss whispers its mournful song,
Goodbye, heart moves on", she couldn't restrain from chiming, a last mocking heiku before she turned to the Duchess and chuckled. "It's always fun to spoil the fun for party spoilers, is it not?"

"Why is everyone satting their marshmallows on fire today?" She asked just before her own caught a piece of the flame. "Are you kidding me.." She sighed.

"A curse, perhaps..." Caelus mused, eyes widening with horror at that idea. A marshmallow-based curse... he'd read about stranger things.

"I think we just like marshmellows toasty friend"

"That wouldn't be the most weird thing to hear today."

No disagreement there

"It makes my heart sing to watch," the Duchess replies to Cris with a wink, her eyebrows raising in wonder at those still slinging rhymes at the retreating back of the Mari Lwyd. "Oh, no," she hastens to jump in, "I'm sure the marshmallows aren't cursed."

Umbra was flabbergasted by the hilarity and weirdness of the Mari Lwyd and the rhym battle... she could barely hold the laugh behind the hand covering her lips "p-pfffft~ t-that was... something alright...".
She walks to grab another marshmellow, skewing it on a stick... then curious to what Scholar told her, Umbra sets it aflame with a purple magic file and... "behold- the Corrupted Marshmellow!" she proclaims, perhaps with too much enthusiasm "so... who wants to taste it?~ it won't bite... probably?"
