"Oh, yes!" the dragon said contentedly, accepting the marshmallow from Umbra. "I could roast it myself, but did you know? All fire tastes different." He scooped a protective claw around his cauldron of eggnog and takes another sip, letting out a happy rumble.

"Ah, sorry, I misheard you." Vardarianna apologizes to the cat and turns her head.

She looked to the stunning blue eyes of the elf woman and giggled some ... "I'm not sure... I kept dipping into the mulled wine pot..."

Marshmallows roasted on a galleon were something an ex-pirate surely wouldn't miss for dear life. Smiling bemusedly, Cris gracefully accepted a stick and pierced a couple marshmallows with it, then moved closer to the improptu bonfire, cooing at Rosy: "Look, sweetie, mum's making pirate marshmallows!"

"Well at least someone had fun.." She chuckled with a soft snorting sound.

Company does her little arrival on a jetpack.. mostly here cause she fell asleep with it turned on, she was going to complain about how much it costed, buuttt the offer of marshmellows on a stick wiped the thought from her smooth brain. She was mostly confused by the amount of people but tried her best to toast her marshmellows without being bothersome

"I guess I did... I didn't really fit in so stayed on the outskirts."

As the galleon's hull crackles away merrily, there's a shattering sound as the curved windows of the Captain's Cabin round the back are smashed through by a flung chair. And from within emerges a creature that appears to be composed of a long sheet, topped with a horse's skull. It scrambles out of the burning Galleon, stumbling to and fro as if it's had a bit too much to drink, and then rounds on the party-goers.

"Well well ye scurvy dogs,
cockily roasting 'mallows on our logs.
You've made my airmen shriek and flee,
but don't think that means you're fit to face me!"

Na'aiyah frowned. "What is that thing?" She muttered, refering to the jetpack.

Nergal placed his paw down onto the table before turning his gaze to the many different guests. His eyes would change to a reddish hue in reaction, it was the only indicator of how he may have felt. His ears twitched and pointed in different directions as he listened in on the conversations, the rest of his body was like a statue. After a minute the cat stood before stretching out his front legs and arching his back.

Nergal then hopped off the table and made his way over to the burning galleon with his smooth tail swaying through the air behind him.

"would you like some? that marshmallow had me down what I had..." Vardarianna was a bit of a lush. It helped her deal with life in Minas Tirith.

"Oh! Is the space lady!" Aggles exclaims as he sees Company, almost dropping his marshmallow in surprise, before turning to Mari in greater surprise.

"Hey, that is cool. You fly!"

Tairloth turned towards the figure with an odd stare. "Who are you and what are you blabbering about?"

"Something that cost way to much credits-" she said "its not as cool as youd think"

"Also hey kid-"

"Oh another cat? And so many people now."

He readies his staff, prepared to blast a hole in her bigger than he did to the ship!

"Cower now, me hearty," cackles the horse-skull, clattering wildly as the creature begins to drunkenly jig its way toward Tairloth. Upon closer inspection, the skull appears to be wearing an eyepatch over one of its empty eyesockets.

"I'll steal your rose and end your party.
The one way to stop my spree of crime
is to defeat me in a battle of rhyme!"

The Scholar tilts his head at the arrival of a new foe, this one choosing to do battle with words rather than swords. His eyes widened as he looked at its chosen foe: Tairloth. "Up and at them, my friend! You can prevail!"

"I'd for sure lose that one.." She mumbled to herself, as she just focused on eating her marshmallow.

Well well well weeeell, speaking of familiar faces...

Cris remembered running into Mari Lwyd at an earlier Masquerade, mostly for their habit to speak in rhyme - and the way she had taken them aback by replying with heiku. So, fumbling pirates wannabes had been at their beck and call? That just explained so much!

Continuing to roast her marshmallow, she tossed back her head and laughed, this time with a definite derisive tone.

"Good glacial nighttime
Surprisingly silly burns
the pirate, chicken" she hummed, almost as if speaking to herself... but definitely loud enough for Mari Lwyd to overhear.
