A time when... Clarissa found out something surprising about herself.
'Hmm. Surprising?' Clarissa thought aloud to herself. It wasn't often that she was the one being surprised. And about herself, no less? She could hardly think of a time when she wasn't so confident and knowledgeable about her own being. So to find something surprising about herself? 'Oh, wait! I got one. This happened recently, actually. So, I'm intersex and my parents raised me neutrally. But as I grew up, I was already pretty damn sure I knew that I was, well,' Clarissa shrugged, 'mostly a girl. It took some time after that to figure out that I was actually kinda fluid? But that wasn't the surprising bit because that just felt right. It just took time to figure out how to put words to it. The bit that did actually surprise me, and threw me for a damn loop, was realising there was actually more to my gender that I couldn't put a label on, no matter how hard I tried. It stressed me the hell out. Nothing seemed to fit anymore. It felt so uncomfortable to be called anything that I usually go with, which is... not something I'm used to.' Clarissa laughed and rubbed the back of her neck. 'I'm still figuring that one out, to be honest.'

14. A time when your character met someone briefly, but it left an impression on them.
Claude, now 14, with her now messed up pigtails sat in the principal office for getting into another fight. The other girl she fought was in the infirmary with bruises all over her body. Claude herself gotten a broken nose and black eye from the fight. Her sailor suit uniform and the track suit pants she wore under her skirt was scuffed and dirty. Her parents could always get another pair. The cost of the uniform was mere change to them. She walked out of the office after the principal threatened expelling her for tenth time this year. "Here." A man who looked barely out of high school handed her a hankerchief with a cricket embroidered in the corner of it.
Claude took it and wiped her bleeding nose with it. The man who handed her the handkerchief wore a Navy uniform. "Thank you," Claude said without malice. "Are you okay?" The sailor asked with concern. "You should see the other girl," Claude boasted. "That's not a thing people boast usually," the sailor said with a slight frown on his face. "Why should ya care?" Claude asked with irritation in her face. "Do you really want to ruin your future over a fight?" Claude just stared at the sailor, not having a question.
"Instead put your energy into martial arts or yoga. It might work for you." The man simply smiled and walked the other way without taking his handkerchief back. "Wait! Your handkerchief!" Four years later, Claude joined the US Navy.

[5. A time when your character experienced the butterfly effect.]
Well, it'd definitely have to be how he became a demon in the first place! Strife definitely didn't think his bad habit of being a people pleaser would lead to his demise and, as a result, his metamorphosis. Pun intended.
[REDACTED] had always wanted the approval of others. He was neglected by his family in most aspects, it only made sense that he'd try to do what people wanted him to do or be what they wanted him to be just so they'd keep him around.
At first it was more or less innocent, groups of bullies would keep him around because he was funny to put through things. He let siblings do what they wanted to his hair because they had to practice cutting it somehow, this was bonding.
But it took a turn for the worst when he was sent into places with the intention of robbing them so the ones that put him there could save their own skins. He was viewed as expendable, so he had to do a lot to prove he was worthy of still being around.
One day, he'd been sent into a bank and a gun fight had broken out. He was fatally wounded, and when he woke up...the sins he'd committed on the behalf of others sent him to the Underworld.
And what had once been a normal young man had been transformed into a demon. One who was made of several different animals with their own skills, none of which he could use.

A time when your character had to put on a metaphorical 'mask'.
"Hm...."
Think.
Think.
"I don't think I ever pretend to be someone else nor lies to others about myself. But, If being a "Black Lotus" leader considered as putting a mask with the tough exterior to others (and only Hinata who knows my feminine side), I guess thats the time I consider myself put some mask for the survival. Living around those bosozoku gangs aren't easy, you know?"
