I'm off shortly to go talk with my bosses-via-contract and their contracted designer, to show them a website that's not quite matched to the design yet (nevermind the horrible mess of code that needs a good scrubbing) while having not slept since 3pm yesterday (it's noon where I am). I also need to mention some stuff I'm still missing from them and flaws I found in their policy, and talk with the designer a bit about certain refinements and alterations. A potential full-time job with them is on the line.

And if I get it, I need to have a long talk with that designer (who they are also planning to hire in) about how to design for the web...

Sorry, I went to sleep as soon as I got home.

The whole thing seemed pretty neutral. They didn't seem to mind that it wasn't perfect yet, but they do want it to go ahead and get put online before I even finish, so I'll be doing that as soon as we can figure out how they can link me to the database without me having access to the rest of the account. I have the database login, but no path. x.x

If they do keep me in, looks like the designer's plans for their next site will be SO much easier. Having seen it, it also gives me an excuse to ask about my own future with them, shortly, so, yay.

Also, they fed me egg salad on a toasted... thing. ^^
