Thanks! You know I will. I'm only logged in here atm to see how I handle them. My face is soooo numb though!
You're doing better than I did. I think I slept for like 30 hours after each wisdom tooth extraction.
Yikes! you got them out 1 at a time?!
I had mine out in Feb, so not too long ago. It was kind of a huge deal for me because my dentist does sedation, which meant IV, which I have a very strange phobia of. Not needles, mind you, JUST the whole needle going into the vein process. Freaks me the hell out. Anyway. I took a xanex before I went in, they gave me nitrous - which was super fun - and finally the IV. No complications during the surgery. Of course when I woke up I was all sorts of out of it and hilarious. Went home and slept for like the next few hours until the pain woke me up. That severe pain only lasted about a day, then it was just the soreness and tenderness and stitches bothering me.
It helped tremendously since one of them was starting to press on the nerve of the molar beside it and causing some serious pain. Although I think I waited too long cause now I still have problems with that molar lol. Overall it was a good experience. Though if not for the copious amounts of drugs I probably would have been flipping out just about the IV, rofl.

Yikes! That's kind of what I thought would happen with me, because I am insanely afraid of needles (shots, IV treatments, &c).
What weirded me out the most, aside from the realization I'd be 100% aware the whole time, was the twisting sensation and sounds as they pulled each tooth. I had a lil' mini break down on the second one and they gave me a few minutes to pull myself together. No pain until I got home.
But that's what pain meds are for, huzzah! I'm sorry to hear about your recurring molar issue though, Lachey! :C I hope you're able to get that fixed in the future without complications.

I had four pulled...about 10 or 12 years ago. They didn't want to grow in proper. I don't really remember too much of it. It was early, I went in with my Dad. I got to miss school. lol They did a..what's it called. Twilight sleep? I think it was like partial anesthetic. Next thing I know I'm waking up and going home. It hurt a little, but nothing too bad. I didn't need my script of narcotics. What annoyed me the most was the dang sutures after. They'd come out and dangle from my gum down my throat. So annoying, or when they got caught in food and pulled? I uh..didn't change my diet too much. lol But I eventually cut them closer to the gums to save further hassle and keep what was in, where they were until they were supposed to come out. I don't recall it being horrific. My husband however, which I blame the dentist, had a worse experience. His dentist was only removing one, and what is it..unhinged his jaw? He popped it out of joint six times. To this day if he moves his mouth like to regulate the pressure in his ears? And a few other times, it makes this weird sound. -shudders- The sound is not pleasant. It gives me cold chills. He also now has a fear of dentists. Even for a simple cleaning. Why they did nothing about it? No idea but yeah. One good, and one bad experience!
