Yeah, they're nice that they have the double shot, though.
Super party hats actually have use in battle, though. Regular ones barely heal at all, much more useful for repairs.

I agree they're useful, although I've used regular party hats before and had them give me 13-15 health, I think.

Me, I kinda wish we could also "repair" weapons with duplicates. Like, take a ton of almost-broken axes to combine into one axe with the same number of uses.
Then again, then we might have people piling multiple guns into one, which would be... unfortunate.
If you're going to put a whole bunch of axes into one axe, though, why not just use up the half-broken axes?
I do. I pretty much exclusively grab mostly-broken axes. And so I always have a pile of busted axes in my inventory, along with the pile of guns needing repairs, and I recall that having more weapons makes you less likely to get the ones being Doubutt'd out.
I've managed to avoid hording guns and hats anywhere near as bad as I usually do, but the guns still build up.
