I'm not sure if I'm just really lucky, but the restless shadows are suuuper weak, seemingly, to fire daggers and ray guns

Good to know that shooting them works.

Ray guns *are* the strongest weapon type. Just also the type that breaks fastest, and the only ones effective against blue enemies.

I have info from prior years (the color scheme only ever changed for the xenobeasts) in the Armory, but there's also info in the Lore Wiki that was added late last year.
