The troll both takes more damage from fire weapons (fire daggers/flamethrowers), and unfortunately regenerates HP at some sort of interval!
The regeneration might be roll-related? This appeared together like this in one of my readouts.
This was in the next turn I took, up where it does the readout of others attacks before initiative.
A couple minutes later:
But it didn't note any heath actually recovered that time.

But I don't know if the first time might have happened across 2 5-minute rounds. Regeneration did eventually show up upon the start of a new 5-minute round, up in the side feed (next to the stats) with smaller text that only changes if you refresh the page.
So far, I've seen it recover 4 or 8 hp.

The regeneration text seems to be one of its ‘misses the player’ messages. I’ve noticed that sometimes it’ll appear in battle but not correspond to a heal, too.
Edit: Ah, it seems like the regen is tied to the beginning of the next round.

A massive snow man, built with the classic three snow balls on top of each other. Its face is a devilish frozen mask, belching cold flames. Icicles grow from it like spikes.

Can inflict blight and freeze.

Confirmed that fire weapons (at least includes ember daggers, likely flamethrower, others TBD) can do bonus damage to some ice/snow based enemies.
Flamethrowers definitely do fire damage, yeah! I don’t remember noticing it on grenades.
I was trying to test that when I got a grenade, but died before I could throw it.
