Hello! So, as the title implies, I'm looking to do one or more RPs based on Undertale. There are different ways it could go, which I'll provide some options for below, but I'll first get it out of the way that there will be no romance involved, aside from the possibility of side-character relationships (like, Alphys and Undyne, or Asgore and Toriel, etc. Couples can exist, I just don't want that to be the focus of the RP.)
Also, this will mainly involve canon characters. If my partner wants to play one or more OCs, that's cool, but I'm mainly looking for interactions between canon characters.
I'm looking for something more on the cute/wholesome slice-of-life side of things, but there is also room for angst and other less happy topics, preferably with an element of hurt/comfort. Undertale is my comfort media so I'm hoping for good vibes and/or catharsis.
I'd be playing Frisk, Chara, or both, depending on the timeframe, as well as possibly other canon characters (it can be discussed based on who my partner wants to play.)
Chara is troubled but not evil, and Frisk and Chara are both nonbinary. Anyone is entitled to disagree, of course, but I'm not here to debate, I'm here for shenanigans
With that out of the way, here are some ideas:
-Slice-of-life scenarios before Chara's death. It could be a full retelling of their life after falling down, or just random snippets, or an AU where the kids' plan gets discovered and they don't go through with it (I read a fanfic about this, it was very sweet and very sad.)
-A human (an OC of my partner's choice, or Clover from Undertale Yellow) falls into the Underground and is guided by the ghostly narrator Chara. (This would take place between Chara's death and Frisk's fall, so the human would be one of the six that were killed... or if we don't want a sad ending, an AU where the human isn't killed and does... something, whatever we decide.)
-Slice-of-life shenanigans taking place after the True Pacifist ending, with monsters adjusting to life on the surface. Chara could be present as a ghost, Frisk's body-sharing buddy, somehow revived, or not at all. If Chara is present, I'd either play both them and Frisk, or just Chara if my partner wanted to play Frisk. If it was only Frisk I would want to play them.
-Honestly any variations of Neutral endings or canon-divergent AUs that still primarily involve the canon characters for the most part. I don't have anything specific in mind but am open to ideas.
-Isekaiing one or both kiddos into some other world, like Pokémon, so they can just have a fun, silly adventure (This is another one where I'd play either both kids, or just Chara, depending on my partner's preference.)
Those are all of the ideas I have right now, but I'm open to others, too! I'll just add a bit about my writing style before wrapping things up...
I write in the third person, past tense, and am most comfortable with partners who do the same. I usually write 2-3 or more paragraphs, but if we're doing rapid-fire responses, they can definitely be shorter. I'm not picky about how much my partner writes, and tend to adjust my post lengths to match theirs. As long as it's more than literally a few words, and shorter than a novella (extremely long posts overwhelm me), then I'm happy! My response rates can be a bit inconsistent, depending on my motivation, mental health, and how long the posts are; maybe I'll respond in thirty minutes, or maybe a week... I'm sorry in advance about this. But I try to communicate when it will be taking a long time. I'm also very patient when it comes to how long my partners take to respond; it'd be unfair of me to take a long time and then be annoyed if someone else does, so... yeah :>

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
A peaceful setting, but with a chance for small fights and struggles to break out on a very small scale.
Romantic themes are possible, but won't pan out. For example: unrequited love.
