Earth is a world devoid of life. After the apocalypse, not many living things were spared. Nobody has any memory of how it happened because their memories were all wiped. All that's left is rubble and charred remains of who knows what. We (The people RP'ing here) are mutants. The effect on us jumbled our DNA making crazy traits on people, basically superpowers. However, life is not easy. We are constantly hunting for food and running away from the Hunters. The Hunters are officers with high-tech weapons and armor. Fighting them is not easy. They try to capture mutants and no one knows what happens (except for the author of course ) after they do, but they are never killed...
This is our tale of survival. How do YOU manage to cope with the conditions and act to other survivors?
Rules
• Some affection between characters is OK, but this is no romance RP.
• Use a character that fits with the plot. One with a supernatural ability.
• Absolutely no godmoding.
• You don't have to write a whole book in one reply! However, I would like your introduction to be at lease 2 paragraphs. Anything after that can be any length.
• It is OK for your character to remember their name. I encourage that.
IF I think your character is unsuited for this RP, I will kindly ask you not to use them.
• Please, use only one character.
P.S. This is my first post, so if it's a little shabby, oh well.
"Where am I..?" I thought to myself, my eyes wandering aimlessly. "Who am I? What is this? When did I get here!?" The questions I was asking myself made me maniacal. What's going on? Do I have any memory at all?
My knees are weak. It feels like I was born minutes ago, but I've been walking for hours. Everything is destroyed... What the hell happened? I think I see people. Are they human? Am I human? Not a single thing makes any sense.

A day that would have gone down in history, that is, if anybody remembered it, and if there were people around to read such knowledge. The Apocalypse. Deep within the rubble that remained lay a boys body, a boy who seemed around no more than 16. Laying under some remains of a broken house.A few bloody shards of glass in his hands, and alittle blood making a stream of crimson down his face, along with the ocassional burn marks.
The sun did not shine, the wind did not blow, not a sound could be heard, or more specifically a voice. Within the silence the young man winced, awakening from his unconciousness. He hurt all over, yet, why was he hurting? Why was he here? What had happened? He could not recall. He looked at his hands, seeing shards and pieces of glass, slowly, and painfully began picking the glass out. It took awhile, but he got the glass out, and crawled out from under the rubble, then stood up and took a good look around. Burnt trees, torn up parks, demolished houses, and no sign of life, What's going on? he asked himself in his thoughts. He couldn't answer that question. He winced taking a step and started off to seek answers. Within only minutes he spotted a figure? Who are they...? Everything felt so ****ed up.

(I'm posting in first person because I feel that it adds more emotion. That may change at times.)
I wonder, should I go to that figure in the distance? They seem as lost as I am. I took a step forward, but was halted by a burning in my leg. A remnant of broken metal was lodged in the side of my thigh. Grasping it, I gave it a tug. I immediately regretted that. It branded my already bruised skin. Moving will be tough. How did that get there?
I gazed around. Not a sound was heard, no breeze was felt, no light was seen. Are all these structures supposed to be charred and demolished? My heart was pounding me from the inside. Here I am petrified and immobile with nothing to do but wait. I limped a couple steps forward, but collapsed under my exhaustion. The only thing moving is that person in the distance.

Within the middle of what looked to be a building falling to pieces lay a boy, looking to be no more than sixteen. There was rubble all around him and on him. There were bits of shattered glass on him but nothing noticeable. He let out a throaty groan as his eyes began to flutter open. He sat up and looked around then a wave of pain burst into his head, form what? Only time will tell. At first, her doubled over, covering his head with his large hands and bending his back to where his head was closer to his stomach but then he slowly moved back to sitting up and looked at his slightly tanned hands that were stained red now. He looked at his shirt, seeing small blood spatter on it which struck fear into his heart as he began to realize, he had absolutely not a shred of a memory. He didn't know anything, who he was, where he was, what had happened, and was unclear on what was things like before now. He began to stand up, the affects of something hitting him, making her joints stiff and sore while his muscles screamed out for him to not move. He heard the sound of the bits of glass on his clothing hit the cement ground that he stood upon. He looked around but barely could see much, just what looked like something that belonged only in a nightmare.
Having heard something moving in a structure near me, I froze (Talking about Alex). From there, I waited. There was some rubble moving, and it paused for a moment. I exhaled a sigh of relief.
Then it was heard again.
My heart skipped a beat. The sound was getting closer and closer. It was a person. They stood up. I saw an innocent, lost person with golden hair and jade eyes. I saw him, but I don't know if he saw me. My brain was fighting itself. Should I make a run for it? Or at least a limp. He could be a threat. My thoughts are telling me to approach, but my gut is telling me to flee. Either way, I'm cornered by two people that could potentially be a problem. Mind racing, I had to think fast before he spotted me. Quickly I jumped to a crevice on the opposite side of the building. The person in the distance will eventually find the blondie, so then I can see if they're friendly. In the meantime, I need to rest. Moving from now will not be easy or safe.

The young man stopped walking, looking out into the far distance, still looking at the figure, then soon another figure. The man tried to decide rather or not to approach, afterall, he had no idea what the **** happened here. How could he trust pure strangers? He took a few limping steps but quickly he had to stop to take a break, walking for some reason was difficult, and not only because of the burn marks.
Nathan had to take small breaths, for some reason his lungs hurt if he took big, or deep breaths. Only leaving one to guess that more than likely he broke a rib or two during- well, whatever exactly happened here, but he wanted to keep moving. Most of his problems seemed to be more on the inside rather than the outside. The young man after many, many moments of rest, began limping off again. His insides were messed up it felt like. His ribs, lungs, and his stomach hurt the most though. He made it about 3-4 feet, before he started to cough, he coughed which hurt him very badly, and he collapsed to his knees, still in a coughing fit, before he coughed up a little bit of blood. He collapsed to his side in great pain. Who knew a few coughs could hurt so badly. He lay there taking slight, tiny breaths, trying t overcome the pain. Well, he defiantly wasnt a problem now. He could only hope those two werent enemy's.

The blonde male had began to feel a strong gut churning pain, like someone had hit his cut several times and then he lifted his shirt up a bit to expose his torso and saw the nasty purple bruise that was spread across his torso. He let out a heavy sigh and let go of the hem of his shirt then looked around. He noticed a dark figure, not to far away form where he stood limping but then stop and seemed to be coughing and after a couple moments, collapse. He then began to jog over to where the figure was, but he couldn't move too quickly, his joints were still really sore. Once he was at the figure, he could tell that it was a guy, probably not much older than he was with think black hair and dark eyes that was laying on the ground. "Are you okay?" He then acted, gently grabbing one of his hands then slowly pulling his arm up, using his other arm he wrapped around the boy's waist to help hold him up.
I decided to take a peek over at the far people after a couple moments. I heard hacking coughs and saw one of them collapsed to the ground. Blondie started to inch over to him. He carried the other boy onto his shoulder and helped him up. I stood up and took a step toward them slowly to get a better view. Immediately, the scalding piece of metal screamed at me not to move. This had to get out, and now. "Here goes nothing..." I said quietly to myself. Hesitantly, I grasped a hold of it and gave it a strong yank. A flame shot through my leg, and I clenched my teeth together to cope with it. Surprisingly, it wasn't that hard to remove. It still hurt like a b*tch. Alright now, time to get over to those people. One of them is beat up, and blondie has morality. That eliminates any threats. Slowly but surely, I scooted over to them. Until I was close enough to see their faces, I stopped. Glaring right through them, I asked
"Who the Hell are you?" They slowly turned their heads to me, and their faces look just as confused as I was.

(Kuro, my character has blue hair)
The man laid there, biting his bottom lip, trying his best not to scream due to the agony of pain that swept over his mid-section. He didn't notice the man coming towards him, until the man was close, then slowly his hazel colored eyes made there way to him. Pain deep in them. Whatever the **** happened here, Nathan didn't seem to happy about it, because of its outcome. He didn't say a word to the man, then again if he dared open his mouth, probably all that would escape would be a squeal or a scream. He didn't pay the little stream of blood that started from his mouth for the second, since that was the least of his worries.
He looked up at the boy with the blonde hair who wasn't even a year older, or younger than him more than likely. They appeared near the same age. Obviously he wasn't alright, but then again, none of them were alright.
He got up as the boy helped him, wincing as he did so. God this hurt, but he'd make it through.
Once the guy helped the teenager up, he'd probably get a good whiff of the smell of cigarettes, more than likely indicating this teenager smoked cigarettes usually, mixed with the scent of cologne.
Keeping his breaths short, he looked at the blonde haired boy, "thanks" he said, quietly, then his eyes noticed a boy with brown hair. Another person around, at least it was nice to know he wasn't the only person here, though some distrust lurked inside him. "I'd ask you..." he stopped a second to breathe, "-the same thing"

The apocalypse, maybe one of the worst natural disasters in history. A apocalypse could be described in many ways for example. It's like squashing black ink all over a painting and taking away all the color, the beauty along with it. Blue skies are now grey, soon to be blooming flowers are now crushed and they're is little to no life left. How would anyone have will and encourage to survive?
During these horrid time's, you could see little to no humans running around, especially in a city. Since cities have large building structure, that could easily crush countless number of people since mist cities were crowded areas. Maybe some areas weren't so have life after all. If someone really looked deep into the city to actually find survivors.
On top of a partly destroyed building, that was leaned over on the side, falling on a large building, keeping it up. A young woman stood on the edge of the dangerously unstable building, with her finger lifted put to a small Robin. Birds like these were scattered these days, so it was like a rare sight. The bird hovered over to the woman and wrapped it's claws around her pointing finger. The young woman stared at the bird with a gentle smile. "I pity you so much..." the woman told the bird. "You can never experience interacting with your own kind, just like I can't interact with mine..."

(Sorry, Rhythm, I assumed black based on the picture. Also, I am sorry for not replying quickly. My Spring Break just started up and I was busy cleaning today so I just finished reading all of the replies and I will be pretty busy. Also, with Alex, at a young age, he is much kinder so he won't be very guard.)
Alex looked up at the boy that came over to them and was a bit confused on his reaction to the two. He could see on their faces that they were very on guard, though he did not know why. This boy here seemed to be a very selfless person and wanted nothing more than to help. He studied the brunettes face, reading through his emotions of the present. "I assume we all are in the same situation." He said quietly.

The young woman stroked the feathers of the bird and smiled, than she cupped the bird in her hands and and faced the robin so it could fly off. Once moving her hands away and spreading out her hands so the bird could fly off. For someone who's living in a destroyed area, it was like she never noticed all the rumble and destruction at all. The woman watched as the bird flew off to another area, hopefully better where the woman was standing. "My best wishes" she says, waving goodbye.
"We're all in the same situation, then. Nobody knows a single God-damned thing besides how to speak and breathe. It'll be best for us to stick around and look for more survivors," I told him. "What do I call you guys?" I continued, lifting the injured boy's arm onto my shoulder to help blondie carry him.
(Kuro> Ah, okay. yeah, I couldn't find pictures of him with his blue hair besides the one in his gallery, so I just made it black and white)
Nathan looked down, reaching up his hand that was half covered by his long sleeve, he wiped the little bit of blood that had escaped his mouth away.
His eyes not leaving the brown haired boys face. No shit sherlock he thought when the brown haired boy stated that they were in the same situation. That was obvious. "N-nathan" he said quietly, not wanting to hurt himself. He was to be called Nathan.

(Rhythm>Oh, I see. I can always wip up a picture for yeah. I have been trying to play around with my wacom lately and I am trying for more realistic style and I am doing pretty good. )
"You ain't kidding." Alex said with a sarcastic tone, even he had to make the commentary. "Alex." He said, it seemed to fit in his mind. He didn't know why, but that was the only name that came to his mind that he preferred. "Now, here is a good question, where are we going to go?"

As the bird flew away the young woman took a glance from where she stood, since she was on top of this a almost collapsed building, how was she going to get down? This was a challenge the young woman had to decide carefully. First things first, jumping straight down was not a option.

"So you all have names, then. You're lucky. I left mine. From here, I'll be called Wander as that is my first memory. Wandering in search of nothing" I said. "We look for more survivors from here, strength in numbers. Our best bet would be to look in that wrecked city. I have a floating idea in my head that a lot of people lived there."
