Jus as she finished speaking, the front door rattled with the pounding of a fist. Ash, grabbed her hand to drag her out already. "Hurry." He would feel much better once he was riding his horse.
she did not struggle out of his hold but just went with him she didnt want him to know about anything she could do
He tripped over the edge of a rug and almost fell down, making him feel clumsy. Silly objects! He'd never udnerstand their usefulness. Ash reached what he could only guess was WInter's room and looked at her questioningly. The back door was locked.
you alright?*she whispers it so the people out side do not hear her and she helps him so he does not fall then she unlocks the door and slowly opens it*
"Yeah, just keep on walking." He nudges her out the door and then closes it softly behind him. "Time to run. My horse isn't far, but you have to be fast." He warned her, before taking off.
she nods walking from the house as fast and as quietly as she could before following him at a run
Ash was worried someone would hear them running and would send people to follow them. Fortunately, they reached his horse, without any ambushes. "Okay, get on the horse. I hope you went to the bathroom before, because there won't be any stops."
she climbs up on to the horse and nods* i did you dont have to worry about that
"If you say so." He climbed on too, and spurred the animal on into the fastest gait. "Hold on tight." Ash said. "If you get cold, you can tell me, okay? I can lend you my coat."
she nods and holds on tightly* i will be alright im sure
"Alright." Ash doesn't bother looking back to check if they're being followed. Checking would only put him on edge, and there's nothing he hates more than having to work under pressure. It was a moonless night, which made it a bit hard for the horse to navigate through the woods.
she looks around her not letting him know that she can see perfectly on the dark moonless night
It was a while before the lights of the village he'd been looking for were visible in the distance. "You still awake, right?" He called, slowing the horse into a trot. "We're almost there."
She nods*yea I'm still awake what town are we going to?
"Alden. That's where I'm heading, at least." He said, not without a hint of bitterness. "You, are staying at this one, because it's too dangerous to ride around with you in tow."
i see and why is it to dangerous to have me with you? how do you know that they are after me what if they are after you?*she snaps sounding bitter*
"Why?" He scoffed, riding into the village, but taking the long route so they won't call too much attention. "I know it because I was sent to kill you." The flat tone in which he delivered the news had been carefully practiced throughout his life.
She says nothing for a long time*then what are you waiting for kill me then....after all I don't why you have to kill me tjough
He almost rolled his eyes at her. "I should kill you, but I have no reason to. And it would be pointless now, anyway. Better to die when it will actually mean something, don't you think?"
sure i guess but why were you sent to kill me if you do not have a reason to do so any way? how does that make any sense at all?
