Nicole packs her bags,taking them out to the car once they were full. She was so sick and tired off the same boring routine, leaving was her only choice. Grabbing her key and the remainder of her thing she ushers her cat,lilo, into the old pickup truck he father gave her. Driving to the airport where she planned to get as far away as possible.

Walking at a steady pace she makes her way through the busy lines and crowds of people,once reaching the entrance to the planes she takes one last look,knowing she'll never come back.Tears rolling down her cheeks she walks steadily onto the plane and places her bags overhead in the small compartments. Nicole sits down by the window and takes her phone out ,earphones already plugged in, and she listens to music. Rubbing the fur on her legs she notices a man sitting next to her, stealing glimpses of him as she blankly stares out of the window.

He sticks his hand out hoping she would respond, but she didn't. Tapping her on the shoulder he introduces himself and starts to talk to her.

he looked at her and smiled. "Hello, I am Holland. What might your name be?" he then frowned when he saw wet marks on her fur. "Are you ok? You look like you have been crying"

"Yes I'm fine. I just left my family back there. " She pulls out a napkin from the tissue box sitting on the pull-out try in front of her. Trying to dry her fur so the man wouldn't be concerned."I'm Nicole Romano"

he nods "Its nice to meet you" he says smiling "So, Are you stopping with the plane? Or are you heading with another one after this?" he asks putting his hand to his chin

"Im..on til the very last stop" she says giving the man a dull look before staring outsidde thhe window.

"Thats a twenty hour flight..." He says looking at her "Why so down? is something bothering you?" He asked looking over to see out the window as well

"It's just my first time being away from home,is all" another tear runs through her fur leaving long wet trails down her face. "I'm sorry it just been really tough..."

he puts a hand on her shoulder "I know what thats like, I have been around the world alot" He says and looks out the window "It will be hard, Im not going to lie. especially at first... But keep going and you will pull threw" he said smiling

"Thanks," she wipes her tears drying her face again with yet another napkin. Before the plane took off she stood up placing her tail in her arms almost completely converting her, like a big blanket.
As the plane took off she started to feel sleepy and ended up dozing off ,sleeping on the man next to her's shoulder.

He smiled and rubbed the girls fur on her head. "You'll make it, dont worry" he said and opened his carry on and took out a blanket and covered them both up and started watching a movie, With head phones though so he would not disturbe anyone

She woke up to find the man sleeping also, with his head tilted on hers and a loud snore coming from his lips.she flaps her ears up and down,hoping it would wake him,but it didn't he just wiggled his nose and continued to snore. " psst, psst, psst" She whispered trying hopelessly to wake him, she moved the blanket he had layer over them and smacked him with her tail.
"Sorry I couldn't wake you up...and you were snoring incredibly loud..."

He yawned "oh? sorry.. I seem to only snore in high altitude" he says stretching and looked at her, then handed her a tablet "Here, watch a movie. I have like 2,677" he says with a laugh

"She looks at him with a confused look, was he rich or something. What if she was a thief or a murderer and went through all his stuff to find out where he lives and stuff, did he just have these things on hand,to spare. She didn't know but it kinda scared her that a person she had jay met would be so nice to her.

"is something wrong?" he asked tilting his head, The reason he was being so nice was because he ran away at a young age, younger then her current age! and he never got help from anyone. So he wanted to help her the way he wished he was helped

"Uh,yeah I'm find just curious is all. So,um where you goin?" She asks scanning through,what seemed like an endless supply of movies.

"same place as you, I have my place too get back to" he says yawning, the movies came in cartoonish, horror, documentary films, romance films, and comedy "I dont even know half the stuff on that thing, they just download at random" he says with a laugh

"Oh,well okay.. i guess..." she continues to scan through the long list eventually picking out an usually horrifying movie.

he smiles at her and takes out a laptop, and starts doing things on it. Work by the looks of things. He would occasionally look over to see what she was watching but for the most part stayed glued to his work.

she dozed off again, halfway through the movie leaning on his shoulder again this time she was the one snoring. Not loud enought for everyone to hear, but just him and maybe the person behind the two.

he smiled and let her stay on his shoulder, He rubbed her head... It just seemed right to do so for some reason, Maybe it was the fact animals like having their fur rubbed? Who knows, He kept doing that and with the other hand he continues his work
