The UNSC Spirit of Fire had just destroyed a small Zerg Colony, And was fleeing from it. However, the UNSC reactor Explosion had attracted the attention of the Covenant. And a CCS Super Carrier was chasing down the Spirit of Fire.

The Deck Guns and MAC Rounds flew at the Covenant Cruiser, While Plasma Torpedoes and Covenant Super Turrets fired at the Spirit Of Fire. Both ships not backing down, But they were headed for a Terran Collation colony, Both ships fighting would light up any radar for quite some distance.

A few clicks ahead of the UNSC and covenant ships were a fleet of terran battlecruisers. With seven in the fleet including a capital class ship known as Hyperion. Hyperion was a larger version of the battlecruiser. The ships were around five hundred and sixty meters long and eighty five wide. But Hyperion was seven hundred and ninety long and one hundred and twelve wide. These ships had a powerful yamato cannon on their front which fired a blast similar to a mac round except made of pure energy. The ships had several laser fireing turrets either end each able to destroy a fighter with one shot and to shred a cruiser. They were in space a while from any terran controlled planet but they were not part of the collation but more of the rebel group sons of korhal under the command of Arcturus Mengsk. "What is that?" Mengsk said on board the Hyperion's bridge. "Not sure sir it appears to be two ships of unknown origin in combat approaching us." Said one of the men on the radar. "Protos?" "Not sure sir." "Try to get direct contact. I will see who if either we should help in this fight." Mengsk said and they a screen appeared on the ships main screen as they tried to contact the UNSC ship. "This is Arcturus Mengsk of the ship Hyperion does anyone read?" He said.

He heard the com message and looked at Serena "tap into that com channel" he says, Serena nods and Cutter speaks "This is Captain Cutter of the UNSC SPIRIT OF FIRE. We have just fled from some planet infested by a species called "The Zerg". we used a Firebase fusion core to blow up the hive, But this Covenant CCS Super Carrier detacted it and we are now locked in combat!"

"Alright we shall deal with your adversary but you will be kept under armed guard." Mengsk said. "All ships fire your yamato cannons at the alien ship." He said. Then all the cruisers took aim at the covenant ship and charged their cannons. The cannons were energy spun incredibly fast similar to a rail gun. With one powerful shot the Hyperion shot into the covenant ship blasting through shields and armor. With that the ship had it's left side and hanger destroyed. When the other battlecruisers fired the ships was shredded and blown into multiple pieces. "It is down we will send a fighter escort to retrieve you." Mengsk said and then twelve wraiths flew out to escort the large ship that was under close watch and withing all ships fireing range.

Cutter smiled, He remembered the days when the Covenant were that easy... Until they started using that damned Forerunner shield technology. Serena spoke "Sir, The ship's fuel cells were damaged in the attack, We need to find a place to set, orbit into" Cutter nodded, and sent all that Serena said to the ship crew "if you dont mind could you show us a planet we could set orbit in?"

"Their is a small gas planet nearby called sigma III you can hang in orbit their but you will be restrained until you have been fully interrogated." He said ending the call. "Escort them to sigma III to rest in it's gravity." Mengsk said going to his personal communicator on his wrist. "Kerrigan I want you to go to the hanger their is a ship full of humans using odd ships and technology I want you to meet with them and see if they are trouble." "Oh giving me the fun job of meeting the new guys? You think they are confederacy or something?" Said Kerrigan over the intercom. "Not sure but you will find out." Mengsk said shutting off his communicator.

The UNSC SPIRIT OF FIRE Flew into orbit and waited, They knew they would want answers so they unlocked the Hangar bay doors filled with Hornets, Pelicans, Vultures, Shortswords, Longswords and some Sparrowhawks.

Kerrigan and a handful of marines were in a APOD-33 drop ship heading to the spirit. The ship landed in the hanger filled with pelicans, hornets, vultures and a assortment of other things. Kerrigan stepped out in her ghost armor and her rifle on her back. "Ok men be ready to shoot in case they are hostile." Kerrigan said. "Yes ma'am" the marines said in sync.

There was mostly repair crews and Pilots down here, along with a few marines and some flight deck officers. however a bit later a man walked down escorted by three towering Humams, Sparrans ALICE, DOUGLAS and JEROME. Cutter looked at the group "hello, I am captain Cutter of the UNSC Spirit of fire... These are Master Chief Petty Officers Jerome Alice and Douglas" Cutter said pointing at them, who nodded to the group

"Well then Cutter I am Sarah Kerrigan of the sons of korhal." Kerrigan said extending a hand. "These big guys sure seem tough. Hm so were are you from? I have never heard of the UNSC but you are human and you don't seem so much trouble and what was that attacking you?" Kerrigan said shaking hands.

he shook her hand and smiled "thats because these guys... and girl are Spartan II's. im their teen years they could kill fully traindd marines with just their fists" he says looking at them. then back at her "the UNSC Is far off from here... We lost are FTL Drive too save are race, we have beem drifing in cryo sleep for days" he then put his hand to his chin "as for the people attacking us, Thats a long history lesson" he says with a small laugh

"Hm well you can explain as you show me around. I heard from Mengsk that you lost your reactor destroying a small zerg hive? If that's true we can help you get a new reactor but adding one of ours with your technology could take atleast two weeks. I can have an adjatent brought aboard and work with any ai or vi you have aboard to make the changes required to build you a reactor. So about the zerg what did you encounter? What do you know of them?" Kerrigan asked a lot of questions as she was very curious of these new comers.

"We encountered some sort of...hive. In all reality they are not that much different from the FLOOD... And are stronger... though Pure Flood forms due seem to be close in power" he said and began showing him everything "These are the Hornets and Sparrowhawks. both Attack Choppers used for scouting, And providing basic air support" He then pointed at the Pelican "The Pelican can transport about twenty troops and a vechile, Aside from an Elephant, Because those things could fit a whole Scorpion tank inside them" He said with a small grin "And these are Vultures, Expensive, And Powerful units. With huge Autocannons and missile barrages" he then pointed two the Long sword and Short sword "These are basic fighters, The long sword is used in fighter dogfights, Though not commonly used on Covenant banshees. And the Shortsword is a bomber" Cutter said smiling

They soon came to the bridge "This is the bridge, Im sure you already know what that is, But if you want I can explain area's in more det-" he was cut off by the AI Serena "Captain! There are Multiple Covenant Citadels on a near by planet, Looks like a Covenant CCS Battle Fleet supported by a CSO-Class Super carrier! has engaged multiple of their ships!" She says pointing at the leader of the group "Some of the ships got through and have begun pouring out Covenant on the planet, Sir we need to assist them!" Serena yelled out, Anders then spoke "No, Captain as much as We would like to help the ship cannot sustain engine power, They will be fine" Serena then spoke "Captain, Are knowledge of the Covenant and are tactics for fighting them would be beneficial!" Serena yelled out. Cutter though for a moment... "...prepare the ship for combat" he then turned to the leader "Im afraid our tour will have to wait...Serena how did they get this close without being spotted?" Cutter said turning to his AI. "The Covenant ships used their slip space drive to get in without setting off any sensor grids... They literally teleported ontop of them"

"What the hell s going on?" Kerrigan said looking over the data of the near by battle. "Damn those terran ships are not with us and I am afraid we will be in trouble." Kerrigan said startled. "Look those are confederate ships. We are more like rebels. But with the confederate ships out of range they wont get help for atleast twenty four hours. We can engage the covenant now or wait until the confederate ships are down." Kerrigan asked. "Mengsk be ready to engage." She said over her communicator. "We are already under attack by the two smallest ones we have destroyed one but their are four more coming and judging by their size I would say standard cruisers no special weapons or anything." Mengsk said back. "Well continue fighting I will be their shortly." Kerrigan said ending the comms channel. "Look from what you say about how you got here these ships are the only ones in range and are probably trying to get a base up so we are gonna strike are you in or not?"

Cutter nods "we are in" he says and looks at the three spartans "head down to the launch bay!" Cutter said sternly. the Spartans nodded "sir yes sir!" and ran down to the Pelicans. Soon the Spirit of Fire was attacking covenant ships, three Pelicans flew out along with two pods

On the planets surface the pods landed along with the Pelican, with them were 6 ODSTs, 24 Marines and three Spartans. Along with two Scorpions and a rocket hog. The base set up and began bringing supply pads and turrets online. "This is Jerome, We have secured a location on the planet" he says to both Cutter and Sarah

"Very well I will head down their myself keep this ship out of range the battle cruisers will help hold of the cruisers but be ready to use this ships weapons." Kerrigan said running to the hanger bay with the APOD-33 dropship. She entered it with the twelve marines. The ship began to head to the surface were it was joined by four more dropships. When the ships landed Kerrigan joined up with the spartans. Pulling down her visor she could see a scan of the area and located the covenant just over a kilometer away. "Ok we are gonna have to hit hard it looks like they are low on base defenses but they had a lot of troops and vehicles from wraiths to ghosts. They had hunters, jackals, grunts and elites. The jackals have no sniping points so they are all wielding shields and "Looks like their base defenses aren't up yet but they have a base being built it seems to supply cover. "I want firebats and marines leading the charge. The goliaths and medics will stay up the back and we shall have the six siege tanks implant themselves around our base for defense." Kerrigan said as the troops and vehicles got ready to charge. "The goliaths will be good against their air and ground units but the siege tanks will only be able to attack their ground units. The medics use a laser to seal up wounds from a distance." Kerrigan said.

the spartans loaded there weapons and began following the forward advance while the other units stayed back too defend "Ever seen a Spartan in a fight?" one marine asked the other "Ya... Her name was Linda. She had quite the damn eye sight, she could take the hat off an elite from i say about from that ridge to the other" he says poining at a few mountains "I saw 117 in a fight, He took out two hundred covenant with their own weapons! But... I guess thats why he is rated Hyper-lethal..." a marine said. "I wish I could be there to watch those three slaughter the Covies" an ODST said laughing

Kerrigan kept her visor down as they approached the covenant on the blank wasteland like planet. Kerrigan activated her cloaking and went completely invisible. She ran ahead to a nearby rock that stood four meters tall. Climbing it she used her rifle and aimed for the head of a high ranking appearing elite. The elite was a zealot. He was red and had an energy sword. "Hm." Kerrigan said pulling the trigger. The bullet flew towards the covey leader and hit him in his right eye and killing him. "Now!" She yelled and all the terran forces charged the covenant. With bullets, rockets, fire and plasma flying every were it was intense. Kerrigan continued to snipe off the large covenant from her safe distance but she was lethal close range too.

the Spartans ran in on instinct and got up close with the Covenant, Douglas's rockets, Alices Chaingun and Jeromes Spartan Laser blasting at the Covenant. The momemt one got to close the would take out their combat knives and tackle down their pray. The Spartans dodged most of the fire from the Covenant troops, and the fire that did hit them was absorbed by the Energy shields. They were obliterating the lower ranks with ease, the highers going dowm a little slower, but still dropping like flies when the Spartans attacked

Kerrigan not having fun fighting from this distance decided to get a bit closer. As she jumped down she disabled her shields and charged the covenant. Three grunts looked at her a fired in panic. Kerrigan smiled and used her kinetic powers to blast the grunts back killing them. Hearing a noise behind her she spun and took her rifle off her back and saw a large hunter behind her. She pulled the trigger but the bullet didn't pass the thick armor. The hunter tried to crush her but she dodged and pulled out a knife. She swung quickly and cut under the hunters head. It's orange blood covered the dusty ground as the large creature or well colony of creatures fell dead. "Well these guys are fun to deal with." She said fireing at the elites as she met up with the goliaths and medics. "So how we going here?" "Good ma'am. We have this area under control. The casualties are average for this kind of op but their air craft are being obliterated by our goliaths." Said a medic. "Ok keep up the good work." She said going back into the fight.
