Kerrigan was in her room over looking the Zerg report when a man came in to meet her. "How you going darlin?" The man said standing behind Kerrigan. "Jim what a surprise. I was just over looking the report and battle from when our new friends encounter with the zerg. You met them yet?" "I have talked to a few marines of theirs. They seem fine. But if they bring those covenant into war with us that would be a big issue as we have enough to worry about." Jim said sitting down next to Kerrigan. "Let's hope it doesn't come to that." She said as he put his arm around her shoulder.

Sorry if it get's confusing or annoying me playing multiple characters. I will be doing Kerrigan and Jim mostly but as you know I also do Mengsk. So heads up encase things get confusing.)

Cutter went to his room and sat down in a chair looking over the ships logs, then notices something... Something strange, He looked at the data chip Serena was on and gave the data to her, what he got back troubled him and he went back to the room he was in before and handed a Data chip to him and spoke "The Spirit of Fire's Sensors detected ships that match Confederacy ships on the edge of are sensors, Before flying just out of are sensor range. I have all the reason to believe they have followed us here"

Mengsk grabbed the data pad and looked at it troubled. "Marine. Get this information to everyone. Tell them to prepare their battle stations and be ready to fight with fighters and get some boarding craft ready. If these bastereds think they can just attack us we are gonna take some of their ships if we can." He said to the marine at the door. "Yes sir." He said running. "Cutter get whatever ships you have ready. We are gonna need any and all fighters we can scratch up."

He nods with a smirk "With the fast and powerful Longswords, And the fast and powerful Spartans, They wont know what hit them" he says as he sends a message to the Spirit Of Fire. and with that the Longswords were preped and the Spartans were ready if needed. The Marines and ODST's were all loaded and ready for anything. Now all they had to do was wait

Kerrigan and Jim were informed of the problem and were put in a boarding craft with four marines. They were in charge of taking a battlecruiser for their group. Everyone sat quietly with four dozen wraith fighters and a few UNSC short and longswords on the ready. The battle cruisers were ready to fire their yamato cannons and fire with their many guns. After a few minutes of silence two battle cruisers came out of hyperspace to the left and two more on the right of the base. "They are ambushing us!" The men said as all cannons fired and the battlecruisers engaged. The confederacy sent out wraith fighters and powerful vikings. Vikings were bulky jet looking fighters with the ability to transform into a ground based walker to strike ground units with two chain guns while in fighter form it fired two volley missile pods with six missiles each per shot. five more confederacy battle cruisers came in the front of the base and the sons of korhal and UNSC were surrounded and taking heavy fire. Kerrigan's drop ship took off heading for one of the battlecruisers to the right of them.

The Long swords began using their high speed boosters and quad chain guns to rip apart any shields and fire missiles at unshielded targets. Sparrowhawks took off and began attacking enemies with their twin mounted chain guns and laser cannon, Along with the VULTURES firing their mega barrages and AUTO cannons. Five COMBAT Pelicans take off and start firing their rapid fire Chain guns, Side Particle cannons, Top Rocket turret and forward mounted SPARTAN LASER.

Jerome Got onto a Longsword and took off, While Alice and Jerome waited back at the hangar to help repel any boarders

The UNSC ships would be a help but they would not last long. Same with the sons of korhal ships. Their wraiths were being shot down but the confederate ships were taking a beating too. With a few shots Kerrigan's ships got inside the larger cruiser and she, Jim and the four marines came out fireing. They met a small amount of resistance from marines but nothing major. after quickly cleaning up the guards they were left with one less marine as he was shot in the head. Kerrigan winced slightly before three vikings came in and landed in walker form. "Oh crap. Vikings!" Jim said as they tun for cover. Hiding behind some crates they were pinned down from the three vikings chain gun fire. "Kerrigan go around and take them out cloaked." Jim said. "I am on it." Kerrigan cloaked and snuck out unnoticed by the vikings ready to hit them from the side. Mean while out side the UNSC lost a pelican and two short swords. While Mengsk's fighters were down seven to nine wraiths.

The Spirit of Fire's Deck Guns came Online, Serena was controlling them, They did have low power levels, But because no one was on it they could drain the power from doors, Life support Grav plating lights and other systems to power them up, The Deck guns began firing on the Enemy Wraiths and the MAC Rounds began charging

The Shortswords began their bombing runs and the Longswords began picking off more ships, Jerome was looking at the shup Kerrigan was on and was ready to dive into the hangar if need to help out, He shot another enemy fighter down and began attacking another one

Getting to the left of the furthermost left viking Kerrigan used an EMP shot. The shot disabled the viking and drew the attention of the other two. Using this time to her advantage Kerrigan shot the pilot of the second as Jim through a grenade and blew up the other.

The Spirit of Fire continued to fire at the fighters, then the guns stopped, and began firing at the Ship that Sarah was not on. The Deck guns flying and two MAC's heading for it.

The Fighters regrouped and charged the ship again, Unloading their Missiles, Lasers and Bombs attacking from all sides of the one ship to disorient the ships defences. Another Pelican took off and flew towards the ship, And it flew into the hangar and fired its chain-gun and Spartan Laser at the other Viking

As the pelican came in and blew up the final viking the explosion knocked Kerrigan back. But before the pelican could get out a confederate ghost came in and hit it with an EMP. The pelican crashed down and twenty confederate marines cam out and fired. "Sarah!" Jim yelled as he ran out to Kerrigan. She held her head and moved behind the vikings wreckage as cover. Jim fired his rifle and killed three marines but the ghost had a suppressing fire on them. "The pelican. It could have some survivors in it. Or atleast some heavy weapons. I will see." Kerrigan said as she ran for it. However out side one of the battlecruisers under the confederacy's control was shot down and exploded leaving a lot of wreckage. The battle was taking it's toll on the UNSC and rebels too as many ships were suffering large damage.

The Pelican back door burst open, And Spartan ALICE jumped out and looked at the Enemy marines "You bastards cooked my ride!" she yelled out, and then her barrel started spinning her chain gun began firing, It would mow down anyone he was on the opposite side. There were a few ODST's and Marines alive who jumped out and also fired at the enemy, One marine lookout a grenade "Hay! Here is one for your mom!" he yells out and tosses a grenade at a few enemy marines, killing two of them

The enemy ghost fired a shot at the spartan and shot threw her left hand. Firing back Kerrigan cloaked and charged them to take out the ghost. The battle raged on and marines on both sides were dying. The spartan was wounded and it would be a battle between two ghosts. Seeing her get shot Jim said. "Lord are you ok?" As he fired more rounds into the marines. Then the ghost took out and ODST and his body hit the ground with a thud.
(Sorry for doing that with the spartan but I thought the fact the situation is one of drama and with us in distress it would be a good plot motivator.)

Alice looked at him "Covenant have done worse before" she says and looks at the ghost who shot her, And ran at it with an SMG, She knew for a fact this thing had powerful weapons, But she had a trick. She got to medium range and took out a little gift she took from the Covenant, A Plasma Grenade. She threw it at the ghost and the sound of it sticking was heard, She smirked and pounded the ground with her fist and went into Armour Lock.

Buck Looked over to see the Rookie was not there "Where did he-" he heard a Sniper round and saw an Enemy marine drop dead and turned to see the Rookie had some how gotten up really high "James!? How did you get up the-" buck then shakes his head "Never mind just keep doing what your doing" Buck says and turns around to fire at the enemy

The plasma grenade did not successfully stick to the ghost. It missed and stuck to an unfortunate marine. The grenade melted into his amour and blew him up a in spectacular blue explosion. The actual ghost was alive and was tackled by Kerrigan. The ghost pulled out a combat knife and tried to cut Kerrigan. Narrowly dodging she moved back and pulled up her rifle. The enemy ghost cloaked and Kerrigan did the same. Despite the gunfire from the marines Kerrigan could hear her heart beating. The ghost however shot the other two of Kerrigan's marines and shot an EMP round at Alice.

Alice Broke out of Armour lock at the last second, SO the EMP Pulse of the Armour lock would counter the EMP pulse fired from the the Ghost, Her shields had recharged and she fired her SMG at the Ghost. Buck slowly creeped over to the pelican and opened up one of the weapon creates and took out a grenade Launcher, He began firing it out at the enemy.

The ghost dodged the SMG attack with it's athletic movements. Getting out of the way Kerrigan uncloaked and fired at him. The round went through his shoulder as he slipped up and activated his cloaking. Now invisible but he had a small blood trail following him. Kerrigan saw he went to stab he in the back. Pulling out her combat knife she swung around and stabbed him in the neck. His cloaking disabled and he dropped dead. "Stay dead." She said as the remainder of the marines were dealt with.

Alice looked around confused "Has anyone seen Douglas?" She asked looking around, He had gone with her but was not here "hes not in the Pelican!" Buck calls out, "Hay Rookie! You see him anywhere?" The Rookie looks around with his sniper scope for a bit, then looks at buck and shakes his head no and then jumps down. "Great" Buck says sighing and looks around "Probably went to scout ahead or something lets go and try and find him" Alice says using her healing foam to fix her hand up and picks her Chaingun back up

"We should head to the barracks and the bridge if we can steal this ship we can use it's yamato cannon to tear through them." Kerrigan said. "I will go with the spartan. You, Buck and the Rookie head for the barracks we will take the bridge." Jim said.
