(I hope Titanio is okay. Nevertheless, since the Soiree is almost over, I'm gonna go ahead and post).
She nodded back at the handsome man at the bar, acknowledging his presence and noted he was rather cute. She also noticed the other handsome man who had taken a seat on a couch and she made a quick wave in his direction, then gestured for him to come on over.
Keira listened attentively as Randle introduced himself, noting his subtle demeanor and the underlying vigilance that seemed second nature to him. She returned his firm handshake with a confident grip of her own, though she made sure it wasn't overpowering. Her instincts as a Defender were always finely tuned, picking up on nuances and assessing situations quickly.
"Nice to meet you, Randle," Keira replied warmly, her voice steady and composed. "I'm Keira." She paused for a moment, considering his question about Titanio. "Honestly, I'm not familiar with Titanio. This is actually my first time at one of these gatherings," she admitted with a hint of curiosity in her tone. "I'm more accustomed to, well, let's just say less social events."
Despite not knowing Titanio, Keira was intrigued by the dynamics at play and the variety of personalities gathered here. She didn't shy away from discussing work; in fact, she found it a natural topic given the context. "What about you? How do you find these gatherings?" she asked, genuinely interested in his perspective. Her superhuman abilities often made her view social interactions from a different angle, but she valued insights from someone like Randle, who seemed attuned to the subtleties that might elude her.
Keira observed Ciel as he approached, noting his reserved demeanor and the subtle air of authority that seemed to surround him. His introduction intrigued her, particularly the mention of being Queen's Guarddog and owner of Funtom, which sparked a flicker of recognition. She nodded politely in response to his greeting, acknowledging his presence with a calm and respectful demeanor.
"Good evening, Earl Ciel," Keira replied evenly as she took his offered handshake with one of her own, her blue eyes thoughtful as she took in his cane and his measured words. His lack of excitement for conversation didn't deter her; instead, she recognized it as a sign of his careful nature, perhaps honed through his responsibilities.
"I'm Keira," she introduced herself, deciding to keep her own background succinct for now. "It's interesting that you've heard of Titanio through your connections. We were just discussing him," she gestured subtly towards Randle, acknowledging their earlier conversation. "Any insights you could share about him? Seems like he's quite a figure around here."
Keira's curiosity was genuine but tempered with her characteristic restraint. She was keen to learn more about Titanio and the dynamics of this gathering, especially from someone like Ciel who seemed to have his own network and knowledge.

His extended hand was received by one with a strong grip, yet not so strong that it echoed insecurity. This woman had to be, as kids these days put it, a girl boss: sure of herself, so that she was neither a timid doormatt, nor a cocky try-hard. These were the kinds of vigilantes Randle respected a lot.
"Heh, that makes two of us," he chuckled at Keira's remark about not being too much of a social pro. "I like to think that most folks in our line of work got other gimmicks to make up for it, though. The name's Randle Pentecost." Though it wasn't by any means the intention of the get-together, Randle did feel a subtle pressure mounting in chest to keep an eye on his surroundings at all times. Most parties that he'd attended, he had attented with the purpose of gathering evidence or catching a glimpse of potetial POIs. No doubt that some of the others felt it too. For the first time in a while, he had to force himself to lower his guard. "Ya familiar with our generous host? What was his.. oh, yeah, Titanio?"
Talking about work wouldn't really help him make a lot of friends. People would either be too secretive about what they did, or had come hear to escape the thrills and tragedies of their daily lives. Nonetheless, he was interested in finding out of his own interpretations of the humans around him were anywhere close to true. After all, even those that skulked about in the shadows weren't immune to a detective's keen eye.

Finally, Ciel stopped being silent and mysterious, watching Titanio fiddle with the lights, and glanced over to Randle and Keira speaking with each other. Ciel wandered over, his cane tapping against the floor and he leaned on it a bit. "Evening you two. Overheard the conversation and thought I'd drop in." Ciel said, but his voice lacked a friendly tone. It wasn't unfriendly, per se, but it was lacking in any excitement for conversation. "Earl Ciel Phantomhive, Queen's Guarddog and owner of Funtom." Ciel held his hand out in-case any of them wanted to shake his hand, a habit he picked up when speaking with the other Aristocrats of Evil.
Ciel didn't expect a handshake back, so if Randle and/or Keira didn't shake his hand, that was fine to. Either way, he put his hand back to his cane.
"I'm unfamiliar with Titanio, myself, however a few.. friends of mine have heard of him, some rumors, some acquaintances." Ciel narrowed his eyes with a soft smirk.

He grabbed a beer and he went over to a chair and dropped into the chair and twisted the top off before taking a drink. He would rest his helmet in his lap. He leaned his head back and let out a long sigh. In his head, he had already mapped out scenarios that would require him to act, but right now, he simply sought to enjoy his beer.
Theo enters the lounge, orders a soft drink from the bar, and heads over to a nearby sofa where he sits down and relaxes.
Theo caught his eye. He merely grinned and signaled a greeting by tipping his beer to the man he had worked with before before. It felt a bit more comfortable due to having someone he knew there. He still remained ready. He sipped his beer again and finally rested himself fully in his chair.
Aronborne stood awkwardly to the side, watching the rest of the guests get comfortable. He could feel the tension in the air so think you could cut it with a knife. Shuffling his feet, he was no longer sure he should be here. Clearly everyone present was of an entirely separate caliber.
With hands in his pockets, he started trying to casually scan the exits, in case he decided to sneak out preemptively. The idea of food and drink was appealing, but was it worth it? It had been a hot minute since he'd attended any social event.
