Trevor tried his best to will himself forward as another plate was placed in front of him.
OOC: I'm okay with it and would like to get to a point where we have a conclusion, but I would also like to move to wrap up soon.

The crowd is chanting, urging their champions to the finish line!
(That makes sense to me. Why don't we increase the dice?

In a very unprincely manner, emptied his guts just as soon as he raced off stage.
Red faced and exhausted from the excitement Alesander disappeared into his portal without a word.

Alarmed by Alesander's sudden departure, it takes Agnes a moment to realize they indeed had a winner! !!!
The crowd goes wild!!!!
There is confetti and little tiny vuvuzela horns!!!
And those spinning clappers!
Olivia looks a bit disappointed for a moment, but gets up to shake hands with her well dressed rival, Anita the Champion!
Dan pulls a little box from under the table and stands so he may present Anita with her prizes!
Agnes presents Anita with a small care basket including some pink bismuth bottles, ginger ales, a certificate for 1 year of free desserts*, and a placard that states :
Grand Haven Pier, Pronto Pup Champion, 1986!
There's also a crown. And $300 cash prize from Dan!
"Congratulations!
Anita, would you like to say a few words?"

"Congratulations!
Anita, would you like to say a few words?"
Anita, wide-eyed, made a small choking sound, before putting on her best smile- "Well, ah. ." She took a hold of the basket, before grabbing one of the bottles of bismuth, turning to the contestant table ". . . A round of bismuth all across the table?" As she shook the bottle, she turned back to the audience, giving them a wave. "-and. . thanks for coming!"
Just as Trevor thought he couldn't handle one more bite, a winner was announced and it wasn't the giant sea creature. He was more relieved than anything that it was over. He applauded when the new winner was crowned. Suddenly... there was an alarm.
Trevor sat up and looked around. He realized he wasn't at the beach in Michigan at all. It had all been a dream. "Wow, that was weird," he mumbled to himself as he shut off his alarm clock.
OOC: Thanks for hosting!

Blue hadn't noticed the contest had even ended. She just kept gobbling down dogs like she was in the desert and it was water. To be fair, she was borderline starving. Her hunts hadn't gone as nearly as well as she had hoped and she was craving something meaty. Unfortunately, the meal was not as fatty as she'd like, so she'd probably use the energy of this meal to seek something more substantial.
She'd only stopped when she noticed the crowd calming down. Glancing up, several hot dogs sticking out of her maw like cigarettes, she glanced around with her eyes narrowed in confusion until they landed on Anita.
Oh. She won? She eyed the placard, jaw lowered slightly as a hot dog fell from her mouth. Nope, she couldn't read it! However, it was shiny and would have looked nice in her undersea garden. Oh, well. She finished her own plate in hot dogs at a pace that was still incredible by human standards.
For some reason, the humans had slapped their palms together like seals slapping their sides. It must have been a human custom for approval. Unsure, Blue looked her hands and brought them together. Once. Waiting a few seconds. A second time. There, that was sufficient, wasn't it? Chuffing, content with how her meal made her feel, she stepped forward to attempt to give Anita a good-natured pat on the shoulder - if a bit accidentally forceful for the delicate creatures humans were - as she passed. She stepped over to the side of the pier towards the water, then, with recklessness, threw herself into the water headfirst. Once she was in the water, just like that, she was gone.
