The Tenacity takes place in a fictional world full of all the usual DnD races, The world of Earl.
20 years ago, the Equator War between the world's two major powers finally came to a close, with Brandenmoor's victory over the Valmontian Empire, peace was finally brought to Earl. Amidst the wartime innovations, one technology has shown prominence. Steam. And with it, a new means to bolster trade and diplomacy, there's just one problem.
The two continents of Earl are divided by thousands of miles of ocean, the fastest way to get there is to sail through the arctic, into the barren and icy wastes, inhabited only by savage tribes, hiding outlaws and brigands, and the closer to the pole you get, the more temporally unstable the region becomes. Something lurks beneath the deep, and in the distant haze.
You are either a member of the RNS Tenacity's crew, attempting for the first time to reach the Arctic pole and plot a course to Valmontia, or you are a tribesman who inhabits the waste. Either way, industry and the unknown are soon to clash, and who can say if you have what it takes to reach your destination. . . or return.
