Montrier Arcaze is the son of the feared and infamous King Solomon Arcaze who died redeemed. Montrier waged a war against an enemy country, but he was presumably killed by the founder of Jerram, replacing Montier's kingdom of Arabek. However, this was not the case. Montrier ended up escaping death, running away when nobody noticed. He went across the world creating a new life for himself and plotting his revenge against Jerram.
I'm looking for a number of things. Here's some examples:
1. Y/C helps Montrier to take over Jerram
2. Y/C is pulled into the issue by Montrier once he recognised Y/C's potential
And, this is my most preferred:
3. Y/C finds out who Montrier is and tries to get him to let go of Jerram and redeem him
Before you reply or PM me, understand that Montrier is lawful evil. He's not going to be nice at all for a while and it is more than welcome that Y/C tries to slap some common sense into him and even hate him for who he is as a person. Though I do want a redemption arc with Montrier and/or Y/C, meaning that our characters will end up building some type of relationship (platonic or not, idc) and I plan on it ending with Montrier as a better, redeemed person...
Or dead. He can die, too. We'll see where it goes.

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Renaissance
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Romance is desired but not required, and will balance evenly with other plot.
