Here is a few thoughts that came to my head....
- Power is not always controllable?
- Humanoid randomly shapeshifts into a Plant/Tree?
- Humanoid has a singleX-Ray or laser-eye?
the part where it says that it's difficult to conceal the power, I guess you meant the power itself but it made me think about something else, maybe the character is some kind of public figure and that's why it is hard to conceal the power
