Vance walked over to her. "Yes, mia?" He asked.

Smiling, Mia leaned forward and pressed her lips against his in a kiss. She had longed to kiss him since the first time she had met him and Miles on the other side of the road, and now she had finally done it. "I love you." She whispered, pulling back and looking into his eyes.

Vance felt his face turn bright red when she kissed him and he fell over onto a pile of blankets. "I love you too." Vance said through the blankets.

"Now lets go get my shirt." Mia laughed, getting up from the bed painfully.

(Do you want to end this soon? Or do you want to keep going?)

Vance rolled over on the blankets and watched her get out of bed. "Are you sure you wanna do that right now? Maybe you should rest a little longer." He suggested.

(We can keep going. I've still got some things I can throw in.)

"Rest... Is for the weak." Mia muttered, straightening and almost falling over. "Curse bedrest. It always makes me feel like shit after I've been laying down too much." She grumbled, her mood taking a dramatic turn.

Vance stood up and walked to her side. "Maybe you should rest. I understand you want to move about and go places, I know the feeling. But right now the option you don't wanna take is the best option."

Mia stuck her bottom lip out in a pout, trying to get Vance to let her go. "Pwease?" She asked, batting her eyelashes in a seductive way.

Vance looked away, trying to ignore her batting her eyelashes. "No, lets not go out today. It can wait until tomorrow."

Crossing her arms, Mia sighed deeply. "Fine, but at least let me walk around the clearing." She said, more of a command than anything else. "And you have to promise we will go tomorrow."

"I promise we'll go tomorrow. And just don't overdo it." He said.

"Okie dokie." Mia said happily, quickly exiting the tent. She looked around and saw that everybody was probably still in their tents, probably getting ready for the festival coming soon. Walking over to a sturdy tree, she jumped into it easily and sat on one of the lower branches. Moving around helped her heal a little faster, and it made her feel better.

Vance left the tent as well and decided to stretch his wings. "Come on miles, we're going flying." The exceed got out of a tree he was in and flew into the air with vance, both of them going pretty fast. As they flew, the dragonslayor thought of something cool to do and began to make sky writing that said "I love you, mia."

Leaning back on the tree branch, Mia saw the writing above her as Vance wrote it. Smiling to herself, she turned on the tree branch so she was facing the trunk and drew a heart with her nails. "V + M Forever." She wrote around the outside of the heart, blowing the dust away from it.

Vance was enjoying himself as he flew, but then felt himself run out of energy and begin to black out. "Crap." He said as he headed towards the tree mia was in, completely unconscious.

Mia saw Vance suddenly change course, headed right for the tree she was in. Climbing to the spot he was going to crash, she jumped out of the tree and shifted painfully. Mia caught Vance in midair and landed sideways on the ground a couple yards from the tree, a new gash in her side from hitting a rock.

Miles flew over to the two of them. "Are you alright, mia?" He asked, seeing her land the way she did.

"Yea, don't worry about me. What happened to Vance?" She winced, getting up gingerly.

Miles walked over to vance's face and looked at him. "His magic energy has hit zero. If he had tried to keep flying and land somewhere he wouldve probably spontaneously combust." He said. Miles took off what was left of vances shirt after the day prior and put his ear against the dragonslayors heart. "He's alright, although his heart is beating very slowly."

Mia nodded, not understanding much about his magic hitting zero. She picked him up and walked him back over to the tent, setting him on the only cot in the room. "I'm going to see if I can find any help from someone I know, make sure he doesn't leave." Mia winked at Miles, closing the tent flap behind her as she left.
